I will make them abhorrent and an offense to all the kingdoms of the earth, a reproach and a byword, a curse and an object of ridicule, wherever I banish them.

I will make all the kingdoms on earth displeased with them. In fact, they will hate them a great deal. They will shake their heads at them. They will curse them and make fun of them. All this will happen no matter where I force them to go.

I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a reproach, a byword, a taunt, and a curse in all the places where I shall drive them.

I will make them an object of horror and a symbol of evil to every nation on earth. They will be disgraced and mocked, taunted and cursed, wherever I scatter them.

猶大被虜之眾、在巴比倫者、必以之為詛曰、願耶和華使爾若西底家亞哈、為巴比倫王炙之以火、

我必使此室如示羅、使此邑為天下諸國所詛、

我必自我所賜之地、拔其根株、棄此為我名區別為聖之室、而不之顧、使於列國中、作諺語、為話柄、

即耶路撒冷、猶大諸邑、及其君王牧伯、俾邑荒蕪、令人駭異、被嗤笑、服呪詛、有如今日、

必遺爾名、為我選民藉以呪詛、主耶和華將翦滅爾、命其臣僕以新名、

耶和華必使爾為敵所敗、爾攻之也由一途、爾逃之也由七途、拋棄於天下萬國之中、

使我為辱於鄰國、四周之人譏刺姍笑兮、為異邦之話柄、眾民搖首兮、

惟爾人子、當取利刃、用作薙刀、薙爾鬚髮、權輕重而分之、待盈困城之日、取髮三分之一、焚於邑中、三分之一、以刃擊之、在邑四周、三分之一、散之於風、我亦拔刃襲之、

因爾所行之惡、所作可憎之事、耶和華不能復忍、故爾土地成為荒蕪、可駭可詛、無人居處、有如今日、

人子歟、推羅人論耶路撒冷曰、嘻嘻、眾民之門已破、皆歸於我、彼既荒涼、我必恢廓、

彼以呪詛為衣、呪詛如水入其臟、如油入其骨兮、願呪詛為其蔽體之服、常束之紳兮、

猶大遺民、定厥趨向、往居埃及地者、我必取而殲之、彼必仆於埃及地、亡於鋒刃饑饉、自尊逮卑、悉滅於鋒刃饑饉、成為可憎可駭、可詛可辱、

亦使此邑成為怪異、被人嗤笑、凡過之者、因其所遭之禍、必駭異而嗤笑、

在此族中、不獲綏安、無有駐足之所、耶和華必使爾心慄目盲、精神衰敗、爾之生命、懸寄危境、晝夜驚惶、料難保全、因心所懼、與目所見、朝必曰願得及暮、暮必曰願得及朝、

凡過之者、向爾鼓掌兮、嗤笑耶路撒冷女、而搖首兮、咸曰人所稱為完美、全地所喜悅者、即此邑乎、維爾諸敵、厥口孔張兮、嗤笑而切齒曰、吾儕吞滅之兮、我所望者、誠是日也、亦既覯止、亦既見止兮、耶和華所定、今已行之、古昔所命、今已成之兮、彼傾覆之、不加矜恤兮、使爾敵因爾而喜、俾爾仇高舉其角兮、

萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、昔我傾怒洩忿於耶路撒冷居民、爾入埃及時、我亦必如是傾怒於爾、致爾成為可憎可駭、可詛可辱、不得復睹斯土、

爾民三分之一、必死於疫癘、亡於饑饉、在爾境內、三分之一、必隕於鋒刃、在爾四周、三分之一、我必散之四方、拔刃襲之、如是、我怒始盡、我忿方息、我心斯慰、我既洩忿於彼、必知我耶和華所言、因熱中而言之、
