『永恆主以色列的上帝這麼說：猶大流亡的人、我所打發離開這地方到迦勒底人之地去的、我必看他們好，如同這些好的無花果。

“耶和华以色列的神如此说：被掳去的犹大人，就是我打发离开这地到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看顾他们如这好无花果，使他们得好处。

“耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：‘被掳去的犹大人，就是我所打发离开这地到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看顾他们如这好的无花果，使他们得福乐。

“耶和华—以色列的神如此说：‘被掳去的犹大人，就是我所打发离开这地到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看顾他们如这好的无花果，使他们得福乐。

“以色列的上帝耶和华这样说，‘那些从这里被掳到迦勒底的犹大人在我眼中是好无花果。

“耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘被掳去的犹大人，就是我打发离开这地方到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看他们如同这些好的无花果一样，眷顾他们。

「耶和華－以色列的神如此說：被擄去的猶大人，就是我打發離開這地到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看顧他們如這好無花果，使他們得好處。

「耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：『被擄去的猶大人，就是我所打發離開這地到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看顧他們如這好的無花果，使他們得福樂。

「耶和華－以色列的神如此說：『被擄去的猶大人，就是我所打發離開這地到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看顧他們如這好的無花果，使他們得福樂。

「以色列的上帝耶和華這樣說，『那些從這裡被擄到迦勒底的猶大人在我眼中是好無花果。

“耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘被擄去的猶大人，就是我打發離開這地方到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看他們如同這些好的無花果一樣，眷顧他們。

以色列之上帝耶和華云、猶大之俘囚、即我遣至迦勒底人之地者、我必視之若此嘉果、使之獲益、

我以色列族之上帝、耶和華云、猶大民為俘、我所遷徙。自斯土至於迦勒底、我視之若此嘉果、

主以色列之天主如是云、被擄之猶大人、即我自斯地遷至迦勒底者、我必視若此佳無花果、施之以恩、

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:‘ Like these good figs, I regard as good the exiles from Judah, whom I sent away from this place to the land of the Babylonians.

“ I am the Lord, the God of Israel. I say,‘ I consider the people who were forced to leave Judah to be like these good figs. I sent them away from this place. I forced them to go to Babylon.

“ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so I will regard as good the exiles from Judah, whom I have sent away from this place to the land of the Chaldeans.

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: The good figs represent the exiles I sent from Judah to the land of the Babylonians.

“ This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Like these good figs, so I regard as good the exiles from Judah I sent away from this place to the land of the Chaldeans.

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ Like these good figs, so I will regard as good the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans.

“ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel:‘ Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge those who are carried away captive from Judah, whom I have sent out of this place for their own good, into the land of the Chaldeans.

Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so will I regard the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans, for good.

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Like these good figs, so I regard as good the exiles from Judah I sent away from this place to the land of the Chaldeans.

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for[ their] good.

“ I, the LORD, the God of Israel, say:‘ The exiles whom I sent away from here to the land of Babylon are like those good figs. I consider them to be good.

“ Yahweh, the God of Israel says:‘ Like these good figs, so I will regard the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans, for good.

我必使這三分之一經過火，我必熬煉他們，像人熬煉銀子；試煉他們，像試煉金子。他們就必呼求我的名，我就應他們。我要說：「他們是我的子民」；他們個個都要說：「永恆主是我的上帝。」

凡等候永恆主的、永恆主就好待他們，做他們患難之日的保障；那些避難於他裏面的、他都做他們的知交；

而你們竟忘卻了那勸勉、那和你們、如同和兒子理論的話說：『我兒，主的管教你別小看；你受他指責、也別灰心；因為主所愛的、主就管教；他所承認的每一個兒子、他都鞭打』。為受管教而堅忍着吧！上帝是待你們做兒子呢。哪有兒子、而父親不管教的呢？你們若沒受眾子所與分的管教，便是私生子，不是兒子了。再者，我們有我們肉身之父管教我們，我們尚且尊敬他們，何況靈性之父，我們豈不更當順服他而活麼？他們呢、是在短暫日子裏照自己以為對的來管教；他呢、卻為了我們的益處、要使我們有分於他的聖善。

並且我們曉得，凡愛上帝的、就是按他的定旨蒙召的人、上帝在萬事上都和他們同工，來成就有益的事。

但若有人愛上帝，這人就是上帝所認識的。

屬我的羊聽我的聲音，我認識他們，他們也跟着我。

但上帝堅固的根基已經立定，有着以下這印記說：『主認識屬他的人』；『凡稱呼主名的人應當離開不義。』

凡我所愛的、我就指責管教；所以你要發熱心，要悔改。

在未遭受苦難以前、我犯了錯誤；現在我遵守你的訓言。

如今你們既已認識上帝（倒不如說被上帝所認識），怎麼還要再回去歸向那些軟弱貧乏的「星質之靈」，情願重再給它們做奴僕呢？

在曠野、他將你列祖所不認識的嗎哪賜給你喫，都是要使你受苦，要試驗你，使你終久得好處；

他卻回答說：「我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。」

永恆主啊，你所管教，你用你的律法所教訓、使他在患難日子能夠處之泰然，等到為惡人豫備的坑已經挖好的：這樣的人有福啊。因為永恆主必不丟棄他的人民，必不將他的產業撇下；

我遭受苦難、於我有益，為要使我學習你的律例。
