Then the Lord said to me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” I replied,“ Figs, some very good and some very bad, too rotten to eat.”

于是耶和华问我说：“耶利米你看见什么？”我说：“我看见无花果，好的极好，坏的极坏，坏得不可吃。”

耶和华对我说：“耶利米，你看见什么？”我说：“我看见无花果，好的极好，坏的极坏，坏得不能吃。”

耶和华对我说：“耶利米，你看见什么？”我说：“我看见无花果，好的极好，坏的极坏，坏得不能吃。”

耶和华问我：“耶利米啊，你看见什么？”我回答说：“无花果。好的好极了，坏的坏得不能吃。”

于是耶和华问我：“耶利米啊，你看见什么？”我回答：“我看见无花果。那些好的无花果极好，坏的却极坏，坏到不能吃。”

於是耶和華問我說：「耶利米你看見甚麼？」我說：「我看見無花果，好的極好，壞的極壞，壞得不可吃。」

耶和華對我說：「耶利米，你看見甚麼？」我說：「我看見無花果，好的極好，壞的極壞，壞得不能吃。」

耶和華對我說：「耶利米，你看見甚麼？」我說：「我看見無花果，好的極好，壞的極壞，壞得不能吃。」

耶和華問我：「耶利米啊，你看見什麼？」我回答說：「無花果。好的好極了，壞的壞得不能吃。」

於是耶和華問我：“耶利米啊，你看見甚麼？”我回答：“我看見無花果。那些好的無花果極好，壞的卻極壞，壞到不能吃。”

於是永恆主問我說：『耶利米啊，你看見甚麼？』我說：『我看見無花果，那好的無花果好極啦，那壞的壞極啦，壞到喫不得。』

耶和華諭我曰、耶利米、爾何所見、我曰、見無花果、其嘉者甚嘉、其劣者甚劣、不可食也、

耶和華問我曰、耶利米與、爾觀何物。曰、無花果、其嘉者甚嘉、其劣者甚劣、不堪適口。

主問我曰、耶利米、爾觀何物、曰、無花果、其佳者甚佳、其劣者甚劣、因劣不可食、

Then the Lord asked me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?”“ Figs,” I answered.“ The good ones are very good, but the bad ones are so bad they cannot be eaten.”

Then the Lord asked me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?”“ Figs,” I answered.“ The good ones are very good. But the others are so bad they can’t be eaten.”

And the Lord said to me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” I said,“ Figs, the good figs very good, and the bad figs very bad, so bad that they cannot be eaten.”

The LORD said to me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” I said,“ Figs! The good figs are very good, but the bad figs are extremely bad, so bad they are inedible.”

Then the Lord said to me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said,“ Figs: the good figs are very good, and the bad ones, very bad, which cannot be eaten due to rottenness.”

Then the Lord said to me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said,“ Figs, the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, which cannot be eaten, they are so bad.”

Then said Jehovah unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, that cannot be eaten, they are so bad.

The Lord said to me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” I said,“ Figs! The good figs are very good, but the bad figs are extremely bad, so bad they are inedible.”

Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

The LORD said to me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” I answered,“ I see figs. The good ones look very good. But the bad ones look very bad, so bad that they cannot be eaten.”

Then Yahweh asked me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” I said,“ Figs. The good figs are very good, and the bad are very bad, so bad that can’t be eaten.”

“ What do you see, Amos?” he asked. I replied,“ A basket full of ripe fruit.” Then the Lord said,“ Like this fruit, Israel is ripe for punishment! I will not delay their punishment again.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Look, Jeremiah! What do you see?” And I replied,“ I see a branch from an almond tree.”And the Lord said,“ That’s right, and it means that I am watching, and I will certainly carry out all my plans.”Then the Lord spoke to me again and asked,“ What do you see now?” And I replied,“ I see a pot of boiling water, spilling from the north.”“ Yes,” the Lord said,“ for terror from the north will boil out on the people of this land.

“ What do you see now?” he asked. I answered,“ I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl of oil on top of it. Around the bowl are seven lamps, each having seven spouts with wicks.

All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

Then the angel who was talking with me came forward and said,“ Look up and see what’s coming.”“ What is it?” I asked. He replied,“ It is a basket for measuring grain, and it’s filled with the sins of everyone throughout the land.”Then the heavy lead cover was lifted off the basket, and there was a woman sitting inside it.The angel said,“ The woman’s name is Wickedness,” and he pushed her back into the basket and closed the heavy lid again.Then I looked up and saw two women flying toward us, gliding on the wind. They had wings like a stork, and they picked up the basket and flew into the sky.“ Where are they taking the basket?” I asked the angel.He replied,“ To the land of Babylonia, where they will build a temple for the basket. And when the temple is ready, they will set the basket there on its pedestal.”

( In those days if people wanted a message from God, they would say,“ Let’s go and ask the seer,” for prophets used to be called seers.)

And the Lord said to me,“ Amos, what do you see?” I answered,“ A plumb line.” And the Lord replied,“ I will test my people with this plumb line. I will no longer ignore all their sins.

“ What do you see?” the angel asked.“ I see a flying scroll,” I replied.“ It appears to be about 30 feet long and 15 feet wide.”
