He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

But there will be a deliverance on Mount Zion, and it will be holy; the house of Jacob will dispossess those who dispossessed them.

But I will have compassion on the house of Judah, and I will deliver them by the LORD their God. I will not deliver them by bow, sword, or war, or by horses and cavalry.

On that day, each of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and fig tree.” This is the declaration of the LORD of Armies.

He will settle disputes among the nations and provide arbitration for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nation will not take up the sword against nation, and they will never again train for war.

Saviors will ascend Mount Zion to rule over the hill country of Esau, and the kingdom will be the LORD’s.

I will strengthen the house of Judah and deliver the house of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them, and they will be as though I had never rejected them. For I am the LORD their God, and I will answer them.

And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, The Deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.And this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.

On that day the LORD will become King over the whole earth— the LORD alone, and his name alone.All the land from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem will be changed into a plain. But Jerusalem will be raised up and will remain on its site from the Benjamin Gate to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses.People will live there, and never again will there be a curse of complete destruction. So Jerusalem will dwell in security.

Israel, put your hope in the LORD. For there is faithful love with the LORD, and with him is redemption in abundance.And he will redeem Israel from all its iniquities.

So Israel dwells securely; Jacob lives untroubled in a land of grain and new wine; even his skies drip with dew.How happy you are, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is the shield that protects you, the sword you boast in. Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will tread on their backs.

“‘ I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate dangerous creatures from the land, so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the forest.I will make them and the area around my hill a blessing: I will send down showers in their season; they will be showers of blessing.The trees of the field will yield their fruit, and the land will yield its produce; my flock will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the LORD when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the power of those who enslave them.They will no longer be prey for the nations, and the wild creatures of the earth will not consume them. They will live securely, and no one will frighten them.

Israel will be saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation; you will not be put to shame or humiliated for all eternity.

My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow my ordinances, and keep my statutes and obey them.“‘ They will live in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, where your ancestors lived. They will live in it forever with their children and grandchildren, and my servant David will be their prince forever.I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be a permanent covenant with them. I will establish and multiply them and will set my sanctuary among them forever.My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.When my sanctuary is among them forever, the nations will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel.’”
