I will surely forget you. I will throw you away from my presence— both you and the city that I gave you and your ancestors.

所以我必全然忘记你们，将你们和我所赐给你们并你们列祖的城撇弃了；

所以，看哪，我必忘记你们，将你们和我所赐给你们并你们祖先的城都撇弃了；

因此，看哪！我必把你们当作重担举起来（“我必把你们当作重担举起来”或译：“我必定忘记你们”），把你们连同我赐给你们和你们列祖的城都从我面前丢弃。

那你就看吧，我一定要把你們跟我所賜給你們和你們列祖的城全然托起，給丟棄掉、離開我面前。

我必盡忘爾、且遺棄爾、及我所錫爾祖與爾之邑、絕於我前、

則我必遐棄爾、與我所錫爾祖及爾之邑、不復眷顧。

則我必遺棄爾、與我所賜爾及爾祖之邑、絕於我前、

Therefore, I will surely forget you and cast you out of my presence along with the city I gave to you and your ancestors.

So you can be sure I will forget you. I will throw you out of my sight. I will also destroy the city I gave you and your people of long ago.

therefore, behold, I will surely lift you up and cast you away from my presence, you and the city that I gave to you and your fathers.

I will forget you completely. I will expel you from my presence, along with this city that I gave to you and your ancestors.

Therefore behold, I will certainly forget you and thrust you away from My presence, along with the city which I gave you and your fathers.

therefore behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you and forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and will cast you out of My presence.

therefore, behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off, and the city that I gave unto you and to your fathers, away from my presence:

I will surely forget you and throw away from My presence both you and the city that I gave you and your fathers.

Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers,[ and cast you] out of my presence:

So I will carry you far off and throw you away. I will send both you and the city I gave to you and to your ancestors out of my sight.

therefore, behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off, and the city that I gave to you and to your fathers, away from my presence.

“ Now when these people or a prophet or a priest asks you,‘ What is the burden of the LORD?’ you will respond to them,‘ What is the burden? I will throw you away! This is the LORD’s declaration.’

Therefore I will respond with wrath. I will not show pity or spare them. Though they call loudly in my hearing, I will not listen to them.”

You are to say: Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD! This is what the Lord GOD says to the mountains and the hills, to the ravines and the valleys: I am about to bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places.

For I am like a lion to Ephraim and like a young lion to the house of Judah. Yes, I will tear them to pieces and depart. I will carry them off, and no one can rescue them.

“ Understand that I am bringing a flood— floodwaters on the earth to destroy every creature under heaven with the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.

Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, as well as the children and older women, but do not come near anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were in front of the temple.

The one who has contempt for instruction will pay the penalty, but the one who respects a command will be rewarded.

I will punish him, his descendants, and his officers for their iniquity. I will bring on them, on the residents of Jerusalem, and on the people of Judah all the disaster, which I warned them about but they did not listen.’”

Even if they raise children, I will bereave them of each one. Yes, woe to them when I depart from them!I have seen Ephraim like Tyre, planted in a meadow, so Ephraim will bring out his children to the executioner.Give them, LORD— What should you give? Give them a womb that miscarries and breasts that are dry!All their evil appears at Gilgal, for there I began to hate them. I will drive them from my house because of their evil, wicked actions. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious.Ephraim is struck down; their roots are withered; they cannot bear fruit. Even if they bear children, I will kill the precious offspring of their wombs.My God will reject them because they have not listened to him; they will become wanderers among the nations.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you from serving as my priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your sons.

See now that I alone am he; there is no God but me. I bring death and I give life; I wound and I heal. No one can rescue anyone from my power.

I— I have spoken; yes, I have called him; I have brought him, and he will succeed in his mission.

“ Then he will also say to those on the left,‘ Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!

“‘ Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

Because of the LORD’s anger, it came to the point in Jerusalem and Judah that he finally banished them from his presence. Then Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: See, I myself am against you, Jerusalem, and I will execute judgments within you in the sight of the nations.

They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from his glorious strength

Therefore, this is what the LORD, the God of Armies, the God of Israel, says: I will certainly bring on Judah and on all the residents of Jerusalem all the disaster I have pronounced against them because I have spoken to them, but they have not obeyed, and I have called to them, but they did not answer.’”

I— I am the one who comforts you. Who are you that you should fear humans who die, or a son of man who is given up like grass?

Therefore, this is what the LORD says: I am about to hand this city over to the Chaldeans, to Babylon’s king Nebuchadnezzar, and he will capture it.The Chaldeans who are fighting against this city will come and set this city on fire. They will burn it, including the houses where incense has been burned to Baal on their rooftops and where drink offerings have been poured out to other gods to anger me.From their youth, the Israelites and Judeans have done nothing but what is evil in my sight! They have done nothing but anger me by the work of their hands”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ for this city has caused my wrath and fury from the day it was built until now. I will therefore remove it from my presencebecause of all the evil the Israelites and Judeans have done to anger me— they, their kings, their officials, their priests, and their prophets, the men of Judah, and the residents of Jerusalem.They have turned their backs to me and not their faces. Though I taught them time and time again, they do not listen and receive discipline.They have placed their abhorrent things in the house that bears my name and have defiled it.They have built the high places of Baal in Ben Hinnom Valley to sacrifice their sons and daughters in the fire to Molech— something I had not commanded them. I had never entertained the thought that they do this detestable act causing Judah to sin!

“‘ For this is what the Lord GOD says: See, I myself will search for my flock and look for them.

I will banish you from my presence, just as I banished all of your brothers, all the descendants of Ephraim.’

I will act with furious hostility toward you; I will also discipline you seven times for your sins.

Why do you continually forget us, abandon us for our entire lives?

Do not banish me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
