The LORD said to me,“ Jeremiah, when one of these people, or a prophet, or a priest asks you,‘ What burdensome message do you have from the LORD?’ Tell them,‘ You are the burden, and I will cast you away. I, the LORD, affirm it!

“ When this people, or the prophet, or a priest, asks you, saying,‘ What is the message from Yahweh?’ Then you shall tell them,‘“ What message? I will cast you off,” says Yahweh.’

耶和華啊！你愚弄了我，我受了愚弄；你比我強大，你勝了我。我整天成了別人譏笑的對象，人人都嘲弄我。因為我每次發言，都大聲呼叫；我呼喊，說：“有強暴和毀滅！”耶和華的話使我整天受人辱罵和譏諷。

因此，看哪！我必把你們當作重擔舉起來（“我必把你們當作重擔舉起來”或譯：“我必定忘記你們”），把你們連同我賜給你們和你們列祖的城都從我面前丟棄。我必使你們蒙受永遠的凌辱、永遠的羞恥，是不能忘記的。”

亞撒利雅就出來迎接亞撒，對他說：“亞撒和猶大、便雅憫所有的人哪！請聽我說。你們跟隨耶和華，耶和華就和你們同在；你們尋求他，就必給你們尋見；你們離棄他，他必離棄你們。
