耶和華曰、先知有夢、任其述之、有我之言、則實道之、糠與麥何與乎、

耶和華又曰、如先知有夢、則直曰出之夢、如我有命、則直曰我之命、維糠與麥。何能比儗。

凡先知有夢、則直示為夢、凡得我言、則以誠實示為我言、惟糠與麥、何能比儗、何能比儗或作何同之有此乃主所言、

Let the prophet who has a dream describe the dream. But let the one who has my message speak it faithfully. Your prophets have given you straw to eat instead of grain,” announces the Lord.

Let the prophet who has had a dream go ahead and tell his dream. Let the person who has received my message report that message faithfully. What is like straw cannot compare to what is like grain! I, the LORD, affirm it!

Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.

If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.

The Lord answered,“ Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?

An honest witness does not deceive, but a false witness pours out lies.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service.

Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.
