那些先知心里存着这样的意念要到几时呢？他们说虚假的预言，说出自己心中的诡诈；

傳虛假為神言的神言人，傳自己心中之詭詐為神言的，他們心裏存着這樣的意念要到幾時呢？

惟彼先知、徇己心之詐而預言、其存此心、伊於胡底、

彼偽先知、從心所欲、普傳誕妄、伊於胡底。

彼偽先知傳示虛誑、欲存此心、將至何時、彼自稱為先知、但傳示己心之詭譎、以為預言、

How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets, who prophesy the delusions of their own minds?

How long will that continue in the hearts of these prophets who tell lies? They try to get others to believe their own mistaken ideas.

How long shall there be lies in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart,

How long will this continue in the minds of the prophets prophesying lies, prophets of the deceit of their own minds?

How long? Is there anything in the hearts of the prophets who prophesy falsehood, these prophets of the deceitfulness of their own heart,

How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart,

How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?

How long will this continue in the minds of the prophets prophesying lies, prophets of the deceit of their own minds?

How long shall[ this] be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea,[ they are] prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

Those prophets are just prophesying lies. They are prophesying the delusions of their own minds.

How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?

Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.

Then the Lord said,“ These prophets are telling lies in my name. I did not send them or tell them to speak. I did not give them any messages. They prophesy of visions and revelations they have never seen or heard. They speak foolishness made up in their own lying hearts.

This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles.He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them.So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies.

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.

O Jerusalem, cleanse your heart that you may be saved. How long will you harbor your evil thoughts?

Then he said,“ You son of the devil, full of every sort of deceit and fraud, and enemy of all that is good! Will you never stop perverting the true ways of the Lord?

They tell the seers,“ Stop seeing visions!” They tell the prophets,“ Don’t tell us what is right. Tell us nice things. Tell us lies.

“ O Samaria, I reject this calf— this idol you have made. My fury burns against you. How long will you be incapable of innocence?

“ The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?

Their destruction is their reward for the harm they have done. They love to indulge in evil pleasures in broad daylight. They are a disgrace and a stain among you. They delight in deception even as they eat with you in your fellowship meals.They commit adultery with their eyes, and their desire for sin is never satisfied. They lure unstable people into sin, and they are well trained in greed. They live under God’s curse.They have wandered off the right road and followed the footsteps of Balaam son of Beor, who loved to earn money by doing wrong.But Balaam was stopped from his mad course when his donkey rebuked him with a human voice.

I have seen your adultery and lust, and your disgusting idol worship out in the fields and on the hills. What sorrow awaits you, Jerusalem! How long before you are pure?”

How long will you people ruin my reputation? How long will you make groundless accusations? How long will you continue your lies? Interlude
