“人怎能躲藏在隐密处，以致我看不见他呢？（这是耶和华的宣告）。我岂不是充满天地吗？”这是耶和华的宣告。

永恆主發神諭說：人哪能在隱密處藏身，使我看不見他呢？永恆主發神諭說：我，難道我不充滿着天地麼？

耶和華曰、人豈能退藏於密、使我不見之乎、我豈非充乎天地哉、

人能退藏於密、使我不見乎、我豈不能充乎天地哉。

主曰、人豈能藏匿於隱密、使我不見乎、主曰、我豈不充滿天地乎、

耶和華的眼目無處不在；惡人善人，他都鑒察。

你將我們的罪孽擺在你面前，將我們的隱惡擺在你面光之中。

禍哉！那些向耶和華深藏謀略的，又在暗中行事，說：誰看見我們呢？誰知道我們呢？

我往哪裏去躲避你的靈？我往哪裏逃、躲避你的面？

「神果真住在地上嗎？看哪，天和天上的天尚且不足你居住的，何況我所建的這殿呢？

耶和華如此說：天是我的座位；地是我的腳凳。你們要為我造何等的殿宇？哪裏是我安息的地方呢？

我若說：黑暗必定遮蔽我，我周圍的亮光必成為黑夜；黑暗也不能遮蔽我，使你不見，黑夜卻如白晝發亮。黑暗和光明，在你看都是一樣。我的肺腑是你所造的；我在母腹中，你已覆庇我。我要稱謝你，因我受造，奇妙可畏；你的作為奇妙，這是我心深知道的。我在暗中受造，在地的深處被聯絡；那時，我的形體並不向你隱藏。我未成形的體質，你的眼早已看見了；你所定的日子，我尚未度一日，你都寫在你的冊上了。

他心裏說：神竟忘記了；他掩面永不觀看。

因為那至高至上、永遠長存名為聖者的如此說：我住在至高至聖的所在，也與心靈痛悔謙卑的人同居；要使謙卑人的靈甦醒，也使痛悔人的心甦醒。

夏甲就稱那對她說話的耶和華為「看顧人的神」。因而說：「在這裏我也看見那看顧我的嗎？」

他們雖然挖透陰間，我的手必取出他們來；雖然爬上天去，我必拿下他們來；雖然藏在迦密山頂，我必搜尋，捉出他們來；雖然從我眼前藏在海底，我必命蛇咬他們；

你說：神知道甚麼？他豈能看透幽暗施行審判呢？密雲將他遮蓋，使他不能看見；他周遊穹蒼。

願這些都讚美耶和華的名！因為獨有他的名被尊崇；他的榮耀在天地之上。

他對我說：「以色列家和猶大家的罪孽極其重大。遍地有流血的事，滿城有冤屈，因為他們說：『耶和華已經離棄這地，他看不見我們。』

「神果真與世人同住在地上嗎？看哪，天和天上的天尚且不足你居住的，何況我所建的這殿呢？

我卻使以掃赤露，顯出他的隱密處；他不能自藏。他的後裔、弟兄、鄰舍盡都滅絕；他也歸於無有。

世上所有的居民都算為虛無；在天上的萬軍和世上的居民中，他都憑自己的意旨行事。無人能攔住他手，或問他說，你做甚麼呢？

教會是他的身體，是那充滿萬有者所充滿的。

他對我說：「人子啊，以色列家的長老暗中在各人畫像屋裏所行的，你看見了嗎？他們常說：『耶和華看不見我們；耶和華已經離棄這地。』」

又有人背棄光明，不認識光明的道，不住在光明的路上。殺人的黎明起來，殺害困苦窮乏人，夜間又作盜賊。姦夫等候黃昏，說：必無眼能見我，就把臉蒙蔽。盜賊黑夜挖窟窿；白日躲藏，並不認識光明。

天和天上的天，尚且不足他居住的，誰能為他建造殿宇呢？我是誰？能為他建造殿宇嗎？不過在他面前燒香而已。
