彼雖忤逆、爾當以我言告之、無論聽否、

主天主曰、以色列族歟、我必循爾人人所行以鞫爾、爾當悛改愆尤、恐愆尤罹爾喪敗、爾當悛改愆尤恐愆尤罹爾喪敗或作爾當悛改離爾罪愆恐爾愆尤陷爾於禍

我遣爾為明其目、俾棄暗就光、離撒但之權、歸於天主、使其因信我而罪得赦、於諸聖徒中獲業、亞基帕王、是以我不違背天之顯示、乃先於大瑪色、次於耶路撒冷及猶太徧地、後在異邦、勸人當悔改、歸天主、而行事以彰悔改、

是以我儕不可如他人之寢、當警醒謹守、

人子歟、我為以色列人立爾為守望者、爾由我口聽言、代我示之以警戒、

或者猶大族聞我所欲降之諸災、各改其惡行、則我赦其愆尤罪惡、

蓋彼眾自言我儕如何至爾處、爾如何棄偶像、而歸永生之真天主、俟其子自天降臨、即天主所使由死復活之耶穌、拯我儕免於將來之怒者也、

蓋天主之旨、我悉以告爾、一無所隱、
