我沒有使義人憂傷，你們卻以謊言叫他們灰心。你們慫恿惡人不要改邪歸正，以致他們喪命。

他們是叛逆的，不論他們聽不聽，你都要把我的話告訴他們。

「所以主耶和華說，『以色列人啊，我必按你們各人的行為審判你們。你們要悔改，痛改前非，使你們不致死在罪惡中。

去開他們的眼睛，使他們棄暗投明，脫離魔鬼的權勢，歸向上帝，好叫他們的罪得到赦免，與所有因信我而聖潔的人同得基業。』「亞基帕王啊！我沒有違背這從天上來的異象。我先在大馬士革，然後到耶路撒冷、猶太全境和外族人當中勸人悔改歸向上帝，行事為人要與悔改的心相稱。

所以不要像其他人一樣沉睡，要警醒戒備，

「人子啊，我立你做以色列人的守望者，你要把我告誡他們的話告訴他們。

或許猶大人聽了我打算要降給他們的災禍，便改邪歸正，我就赦免他們的過犯和罪惡。」

因為人們都在傳講你們如何接待我們，如何離棄偶像歸向上帝，事奉又真又活的上帝，等候祂的兒子從天降臨，就是祂使之從死裡復活、救我們脫離將來可怕審判的耶穌。

因為上帝的整個計劃，我沒有向你們避而不宣。
