这里到处是拜偶像的人，他们行为邪恶，滥用权力。大地因受咒诅而悲哀，旷野的草场都枯干了。

因為遍地充滿了行姦淫的人；因受咒詛，地就悲哀，曠野的草場都枯乾了。他們行的路程乃是壞的，他們的勇力使得不對。

斯土充斥淫人、因受詛而愁慘、野間草場枯槁、其人所行乃惡、其勢不正、

四境之內、靡不行淫、厥口詛咒、其國有愁慘之象、斯人也、作不善、行非義、郊原牧場、盡成槁壤。

行淫者遍於四境、因受咒詛、地若愁慘、郊原之牧場枯槁、彼眾奔趨、以作不善、彼雖有勇、專行不正、

The land is full of adulterers; because of the curse the land lies parched and the pastures in the wilderness are withered. The prophets follow an evil course and use their power unjustly.

The land is full of people who aren’t faithful to the Lord. Now the land is under his curse. And that’s why it is thirsty for water. That’s why the desert grasslands are dry. The prophets are leading sinful lives. They don’t use their power in the right way.

For the land is full of adulterers; because of the curse the land mourns, and the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. Their course is evil, and their might is not right.

For the land is full of adultery, and it lies under a curse. The land itself is in mourning— its wilderness pastures are dried up. For they all do evil and abuse what power they have.

但起假誓，不踐前言，殺害，偷盜，姦淫，行強暴，殺人流血，接連不斷。因此，這地悲哀，其上的民、田野的獸、空中的鳥必都衰微，海中的魚也必消滅。

使肥地變為鹼地；這都因其間居民的罪惡。

惟願我在曠野有行路人住宿之處，使我可以離開我的民出去；因他們都是行姦淫的，是行詭詐的一黨。

我要為山嶺哭泣悲哀，為曠野的草場揚聲哀號；因為都已乾焦，甚至無人經過。人也聽不見牲畜鳴叫，空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸都已逃去。

我怎能赦免你呢？你的兒女離棄我，又指着那不是神的起誓。我使他們飽足，他們就行姦淫，成羣地聚集在娼妓家裏。他們像餵飽的馬到處亂跑，各向他鄰舍的妻發嘶聲。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我必臨近你們，施行審判。我必速速作見證，警戒行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假誓的、虧負人之工價的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、屈枉寄居的，和不敬畏我的。」

在你中間有讒謗人、流人血的；有在山上吃過祭偶像之物的，有行淫亂的。在你中間有露繼母下體羞辱父親的，有玷辱月經不潔淨之婦人的。這人與鄰舍的妻行可憎的事；那人貪淫玷污兒婦；還有玷辱同父之姊妹的。

所以，地被咒詛吞滅；住在其上的顯為有罪。地上的居民被火焚燒，剩下的人稀少。

你們偷盜，殺害，姦淫，起假誓，向巴力燒香，並隨從素不認識的別神，

情慾的事都是顯而易見的，就如姦淫、污穢、邪蕩、拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、紛爭、異端、嫉妒、醉酒、荒宴等類。我從前告訴你們，現在又告訴你們，行這樣事的人必不能承受神的國。

你們豈不知不義的人不能承受神的國嗎？不要自欺！無論是淫亂的、拜偶像的、姦淫的、作孌童的、親男色的、偷竊的、貪婪的、醉酒的、辱罵的、勒索的，都不能承受神的國。

猶大悲哀，城門衰敗。眾人披上黑衣坐在地上；耶路撒冷的哀聲上達。

耶和華啊，你曉得我，看見我，察驗我向你是怎樣的心。求你將他們拉出來，好像將宰的羊，叫他們等候殺戮的日子。這地悲哀，通國的青草枯乾，要到幾時呢？因其上居民的惡行，牲畜和飛鳥都滅絕了。他們曾說：他看不見我們的結局。

她夜間痛哭，淚流滿腮；在一切所親愛的中間沒有一個安慰她的。她的朋友都以詭詐待她，成為她的仇敵。猶大因遭遇苦難，又因多服勞苦就遷到外邦。她住在列國中，尋不着安息；追逼她的都在狹窄之地將她追上。錫安的路徑因無人來守聖節就悲傷；她的城門淒涼；她的祭司歎息；她的處女受艱難，自己也愁苦。

行淫和親男色的，搶人口和說謊話的，並起假誓的，或是為別樣敵正道的事設立的。

田荒涼，地悲哀；因為五穀毀壞，新酒乾竭，油也缺乏。

他對我說：「這是發出行在遍地上的咒詛。凡偷竊的必按卷上這面的話除滅；凡起假誓的必按卷上那面的話除滅。萬軍之耶和華說：我必使這書卷出去，進入偷竊人的家和指我名起假誓人的家，必常在他家裏，連房屋帶木石都毀滅了。」

你們這些淫亂的人哪，豈不知與世俗為友就是與神為敵嗎？所以凡想要與世俗為友的，就是與神為敵了。

婚姻，人人都當尊重，牀也不可污穢；因為苟合行淫的人，神必要審判。
