I will send destroyers against you, each man with his weapons, and they will cut up your fine cedar beams and throw them into the fire.

立旌斾遙指郇岡、使人逃避於彼、毋稍遲延、我降大禍、來自北方、盡遭其毀。殘賊列邦者、猶獅出林而至、彼出其所、必使爾地荒蕪、城邑傾圮、無人居處。

我萬有之主耶和華、赫兮煊兮、伐其巨枝、折其雄幹、使高者降為卑、持其斧斤、斬其林木、使豪傑之士盡斫利巴嫩之樹。

爾遣僕侮耶和華云、我率眾車、已躋山巔、在利巴嫩旁、斫柏香木之高者、松柏之美者、我必造其極處、奪其良田、

主有傑士、召為執事、以洩其憤、莫不踴躍、樂奏其能。萬有之主耶和華、核數軍實、使臨戰鬥、岡巒之上、國民和集、威聲遠振。耶和華赫然震怒、爰整其旅、以滅斯土、來自遠方、至從地極。

我聞主大聲呼曰、操斯邑刑賞之權者、當執殺人之器而來。有六人至、自北之崇門、各執殺人利器、中有一人、身衣枲衣、腰懸墨盂、咸入殿中、立於銅臺之側。以色列族之上帝耶和華、榮光焜耀、離𠼻𡀔［口氷］、至殿門、招衣枲衣懸墨盂者前來、諭之云、爾巡行耶路撒冷逵衢、若有人以邑眾所行之事、深堪痛疾、而歔欷哀哭者、爾則以印誌其顙、

燃火製器之人、我所造、用器傷人之人、亦我所造、兵革攻爾者、必不利、與爾舌戰者、必不勝、我使我臣僕、稱義納福、無不若是、我耶和華已言之矣。

利巴嫩當啟爾門、任爾柏香木為火所焚、

耶和華告以色列族曰、遠方有國、歷年已久、其民強悍、其方言爾不識。其所語爾不明、我必使之攻爾。

敵之城垣、變為荒蕪、敵之宅第、盡為邱墟、牛犢皆牧於彼、或寢或訛、嚙蒭蕘而食萌櫱、枝幹枯槁、即遭毀折、女子拾焉、焚之以火、蓋彼敵人、懵然無知、故我造化之主、不加矜憫。

待主降罰、使遠邦之人橫加侵伐、爾將何為、求救於何人、藏寶於何地。主既遐棄爾、不為人所俘囚、必為人所殺害、主之忿怒、猶未息也、主之降罰、尚末已也。我震怒斯民、使亞述人、為杖箠以擊之、亞述人亦有禍矣、我民偽善、我必震怒、使亞述人擊之、攘奪其貨、蹂躪其身、若逵衢之糞壤。亞述人之所為、非欲成我之志、其意乃為翦滅列邦。

君聞之怒、遣軍滅其兇、焚其邑、

耶和華又曰、所遺之民、我必赦宥、當是之時、以色列族、猶大家、所有罪戾、歸於烏有、雖求其疵、亦不可得、耶和華又曰、違逆之邦、當降以罰、滅之務盡、循我所命。戰鬥殺伐之聲、聞於斯土。昔巴比倫滅天下、若鎚摧物、今巴比倫被折、列國為之驚駭。
