Some of you live in Jerusalem in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon. You are comfortable in your cedar buildings. But you will groan when pain comes on you. It will be like the pain of a woman having a baby.

耶和華論到猶大王的家如此說：「我看你如基列，如黎巴嫩的山頂；然而，我必使你變為曠野，成為無人居住的城鎮。

他們在床上呼號，卻不誠心哀求我；他們為求五穀新酒而聚集，卻背叛我。

摩押的居民哪，要離開城鎮，住在山崖裏，像鴿子在峽谷口上搭窩。

有聲音從光禿的高地傳來，就是以色列人哭泣懇求的聲音，因為他們走彎曲之道，忘記耶和華－他們的神。

我要去，我要回到原處，等他們自覺有罪，尋求我的面；急難時他們必切切尋求我。來，我們歸向耶和華吧！他撕裂我們，也必醫治；打傷我們，也必包紮。

住在山穴中盤據山頂的啊，你被自己的聲勢與心中的狂傲所蒙蔽；你雖如大鷹高高搭窩，我卻要從那裏拉你下來。這是耶和華說的。

耶和華如此說：「我們聽見顫抖的聲音，令人懼怕，沒有平安。你們且訪查看看，男人會生孩子嗎？我怎麼看見人人都用手撐腰，像臨產的婦人，臉都發白了呢？

巴蘭看見基尼人，就唱起詩歌說：「你的住處堅固；你的巢窩造在巖石中。

禍哉！那為本家積蓄不義之財、在高處搭窩、指望得免災禍的人！

黎巴嫩哪，敞開你的門，任火吞滅你的香柏樹。哀號吧，松樹！因為香柏樹傾倒了，高大的樹毀壞了。哀號吧，巴珊的橡樹！因為茂盛的樹林倒下來了。

住在山谷和平原磐石上的居民啊，看哪，我與你們為敵，因為你們說：『誰能下來攻擊我們？誰能進入我們的住處呢？』這是耶和華說的。

你雖如鷹高飛，在星宿之間搭窩，我必從那裏拉你下來。這是耶和華說的。

在那日、在那時，以色列人要和猶大人同來，隨走隨哭，尋求耶和華－他們的神。這是耶和華說的。他們要問到錫安之路，又面向那裏，說：「來吧，他們要在永不被遺忘的約中與耶和華聯合。」
