Some of you live in Jerusalem in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon. You are comfortable in your cedar buildings. But you will groan when pain comes on you. It will be like the pain of a woman having a baby.

你淒涼的時候要怎樣行呢？你雖穿上朱紅衣服，佩戴黃金裝飾，用顏料修飾眼目，這樣標緻是枉然的！戀愛你的藐視你，並且尋索你的性命。我聽見有聲音，彷彿婦人產難的聲音，好像生頭胎疼痛的聲音，是錫安女子的聲音；她喘着氣、挓挲手，說：我有禍了！在殺人的跟前，我的心發昏了。

耶和華論到猶大王的家如此說：我看你如基列，如黎巴嫩頂；然而，我必使你變為曠野，為無人居住的城邑。

他們並不誠心哀求我，乃在牀上呼號；他們為求五穀新酒聚集，仍然悖逆我。

摩押的居民哪，要離開城邑，住在山崖裏，像鴿子在深淵口上搭窩。

在淨光的高處聽見人聲，就是以色列人哭泣懇求之聲，乃因他們走彎曲之道，忘記耶和華－他們的神。

我要回到原處，等他們自覺有罪，尋求我面；他們在急難的時候必切切尋求我。來吧，我們歸向耶和華！他撕裂我們，也必醫治；他打傷我們，也必纏裹。

住在山穴中據守山頂的啊，論到你的威嚇，你因心中的狂傲自欺；你雖如大鷹高高搭窩，我卻從那裏拉下你來。這是耶和華說的。

耶和華如此說：我們聽見聲音，是戰抖懼怕而不平安的聲音。你們且訪問看看，男人有產難嗎？我怎麼看見人人用手掐腰，像產難的婦人，臉面都變青了呢？

巴蘭觀看基尼人，就題起詩歌說：你的住處本是堅固；你的窩巢做在巖穴中。

為本家積蓄不義之財、在高處搭窩、指望免災的有禍了！

黎巴嫩哪，開開你的門，任火燒滅你的香柏樹。松樹啊，應當哀號；因為香柏樹傾倒，佳美的樹毀壞。巴珊的橡樹啊，應當哀號，因為茂盛的樹林已經倒了。

耶和華說：住山谷和平原磐石上的居民，你們說：誰能下來攻擊我們？誰能進入我們的住處呢？看哪，我與你們為敵。

你雖如大鷹高飛，在星宿之間搭窩，我必從那裏拉下你來。這是耶和華說的。

耶和華說：「當那日子、那時候，以色列人要和猶大人同來，隨走隨哭，尋求耶和華－他們的神。他們必訪問錫安，又面向這裏，說：『來吧，你們要與耶和華聯合為永遠不忘的約。』

他們雖然挖透陰間，我的手必取出他們來；雖然爬上天去，我必拿下他們來；
