爾與爾民、何為欲亡於鋒刃饑饉疫癘、如耶和華論不事巴比倫王之國所言者乎、

彼禁食時、我不聽其呼籲、彼獻燔祭素祭、我不納之、惟以鋒刃饑饉疫癘滅之、

耶和華曰、厥後、我必以猶大王西底家、暨其臣僕庶民、凡在邑中、疫癘鋒刃饑饉之餘、悉付於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、與其諸敵、及索其命者之手、巴比倫王必擊之以刃、不惜之、不憐之、不加矜憫、○
