House of David, Yahweh says,‘ Execute justice in the morning, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my wrath go out like fire, and burn so that no one can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

This is what the Lord says to you, house of David:“‘ Administer justice every morning; rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed, or my wrath will break out and burn like fire because of the evil you have done— burn with no one to quench it.

Here is what the Lord says to you who belong to David’s royal house.“‘ “Every morning do what is right and fair. Save those who have been robbed. Set them free from the people who have treated them badly. If you do not, my anger will blaze out against you. It will burn like fire because of the evil things you have done. No one will be able to put it out.

O house of David! Thus says the Lord:“‘ Execute justice in the morning, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed, lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn with none to quench it, because of your evil deeds.’”

This is what the Lord says to the dynasty of David:“‘ Give justice each morning to the people you judge! Help those who have been robbed; rescue them from their oppressors. Otherwise, my anger will burn like an unquenchable fire because of all your sins.

House of David, this is what the LORD says: Administer justice every morning, and rescue the victim of robbery from his oppressor, or my anger will flare up like fire and burn unquenchably because of your evil deeds.

O house of David! Thus says the Lord:“ Execute judgment in the morning; And deliver him who is plundered Out of the hand of the oppressor, Lest My fury go forth like fire And burn so that no one can quench it, Because of the evil of your doings.

House of David, this is what the Lord says: Administer justice every morning, and rescue the victim of robbery from the hand of his oppressor, or My anger will flare up like fire and burn unquenchably because of their evil deeds.

O house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver[ him that is] spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench[ it], because of the evil of your doings.

O royal family descended from David. The Lord says:‘ See to it that people each day are judged fairly. Deliver those who have been robbed from those who oppress them. Otherwise, my wrath will blaze out against you. It will burn like a fire that cannot be put out because of the evil that you have done.

Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow.”

Circumcise yourselves to Yahweh, and take away the foreskins of your heart, you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my wrath go out like fire, and burn so that no one can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

‘ Hear Yahweh’s word, king of Judah, who sits on David’s throne, you, your servants, and your people who enter in by these gates.Yahweh says:“ Execute justice and righteousness, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong. Do no violence to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow. Don’t shed innocent blood in this place.

Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate.Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy.”

The strong will be like tinder, and his work like a spark. They will both burn together, and no one will quench them.”

Tell the forest of the South,‘ Hear Yahweh’s word: The Lord Yahweh says,“ Behold, I will kindle a fire in you, and it will devour every green tree in you, and every dry tree. The burning flame will not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north will be burned by it.All flesh will see that I, Yahweh, have kindled it. It will not be quenched.”’”

You, even of yourself, will discontinue from your heritage that I gave you. I will cause you to serve your enemies in the land which you don’t know, for you have kindled a fire in my anger which will burn forever.”

It may be they will present their supplication before Yahweh, and will each return from his evil way; for Yahweh has pronounced great anger and wrath against this people.”

Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.

They have grown fat. They shine; yes, they excel in deeds of wickedness. They don’t plead the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and they don’t defend the rights of the needy.

Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:“ Behold, my anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, on man, on animal, on the trees of the field, and on the fruit of the ground; and it will burn and will not be quenched.”

Yahweh, within her, is righteous. He will do no wrong. Every morning he brings his justice to light. He doesn’t fail, but the unjust know no shame.

“ Thus has Yahweh of Armies spoken, saying,‘ Execute true judgment, and show kindness and compassion every man to his brother.Don’t oppress the widow, nor the fatherless, the foreigner, nor the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart.’But they refused to listen, and turned their backs, and stopped their ears, that they might not hear.

Behold, Yahweh’s storm, his wrath, has gone out. Yes, a whirling storm: It will burst on the head of the wicked.

and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David

Morning by morning, I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off all the workers of iniquity from Yahweh’s city.

Yahweh has accomplished his wrath. He has poured out his fierce anger. He has kindled a fire in Zion, which has devoured its foundations.

“ Should you reign, because you strive to excel in cedar? Didn’t your father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.He judged the cause of the poor and needy; so it was well, then. Wasn’t this to know me?” says Yahweh.But your eyes and your heart are only for your covetousness, for shedding innocent blood, for oppression, and for doing violence.”

He said,“ Listen now, house of David. Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God also?

He has cut off all the horn of Israel in fierce anger. He has drawn back his right hand from before the enemy. He has burned up Jacob like a flaming fire, which devours all around.He has bent his bow like an enemy. He has stood with his right hand as an adversary. Has killed all that were pleasant to the eye. In the tent of the daughter of Zion, he has poured out his wrath like fire.

A widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying,‘ Defend me from my adversary!’He wouldn’t for a while, but afterward he said to himself,‘ Though I neither fear God, nor respect man,yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.’”

for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.

Therefore Yahweh, the God of Armies says,“ Because you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it will devour them.

If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire,

“ Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me. All of them are bronze, tin, iron, and lead in the middle of the furnace. They are the dross of silver.Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:‘ Because you have all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the middle of Jerusalem.As they gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the middle of the furnace, to blow the fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in my anger and in my wrath, and I will lay you there, and melt you.Yes, I will gather you, and blow on you with the fire of my wrath, and you will be melted in the middle of it.As silver is melted in the middle of the furnace, so you will be melted in the middle of it; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have poured out my wrath on you.’”

Therefore I have poured out my indignation on them. I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath. I have brought their own way on their heads,” says the Lord Yahweh.

David’s house was told,“ Syria is allied with Ephraim.” His heart trembled, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest tremble with the wind.

Rescue those who are being led away to death! Indeed, hold back those who are staggering to the slaughter!If you say,“ Behold, we didn’t know this,” doesn’t he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn’t he know it? Shall he not render to every man according to his work?

For a fire is kindled in my anger, that burns to the lowest Sheol, devours the earth with its increase, and sets the foundations of the mountains on fire.

I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, in wrath, and in great indignation.

David reigned over all Israel; and David executed justice and righteousness for all his people.

Give counsel! Execute justice! Make your shade like the night in the middle of the noonday! Hide the outcasts! Don’t betray the fugitive!Let my outcasts dwell with you! As for Moab, be a hiding place for him from the face of the destroyer. For the extortionist is brought to nothing. Destruction ceases. The oppressors are consumed out of the land.A throne will be established in loving kindness. One will sit on it in truth, in the tent of David, judging, seeking justice, and swift to do righteousness.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, and they don’t seek Yahweh!Yet he also is wise, and will bring disaster, and will not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of those who work iniquity.

That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered.”“‘ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:“ Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.Heap on the wood. Make the fire hot. Boil the meat well. Make the broth thick, and let the bones be burned.Then set it empty on its coals, that it may be hot, and its bronze may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.She is weary with toil; yet her great rust, rust by fire, doesn’t leave her.“‘“ In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I have cleansed you and you weren’t cleansed, you won’t be cleansed from your filthiness any more, until I have caused my wrath toward you to rest.I, Yahweh, have spoken it. It will happen, and I will do it. I won’t go back. I won’t spare. I won’t repent. According to your ways, and according to your doings, they will judge you,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”

On the next day, Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood around Moses from the morning to the evening.

“ Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh,“ that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and he will reign as king and deal wisely, and will execute justice and righteousness in the land.

then I will walk contrary to you in wrath. I will also chastise you seven times for your sins.

Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Yahweh’s wrath, but the whole land will be devoured by the fire of his jealousy; for he will make an end, yes, a terrible end, of all those who dwell in the land.

Woe to you, land, when your king is a child, and your princes eat in the morning!Happy are you, land, when your king is the son of nobles, and your princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness!

For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper.He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy.He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight.

I broke the jaws of the unrighteous and plucked the prey out of his teeth.

“ How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.“ Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”

God, give the king your justice; your righteousness to the royal son.He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.
