護衛長拿住西萊雅大祭司、西番亞副祭司和門口的三個守衛，

還有瑪基雅的曾孫，巴施戶珥的孫子，耶羅罕的兒子亞大雅；又有瑪賽，瑪賽是亞第業的兒子，亞第業是雅希細拉的兒子，雅希細拉是米書蘭的兒子，米書蘭是米實利密的兒子，米實利密是音麥的兒子。

約西亞的兒子西底家接續約雅敬的兒子哥尼雅作王，因為巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒立他在猶大地作王。

猶大王西底家第十年，就是尼布甲尼撒十八年，耶和華的話臨到耶利米。那時巴比倫王的軍隊圍困耶路撒冷，耶利米先知被囚在猶大王宮中護衛兵的院內；因為猶大王西底家囚禁他，說：「你為甚麼預言耶和華如此說：『看哪，我要把這城交在巴比倫王的手中，他必攻下這城。

西底家登基的時候年二十一歲，在耶路撒冷作王十一年。他母親名叫哈慕她，是立拿人耶利米的女兒。西底家行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，像約雅敬所做的一切。因此，耶和華向耶路撒冷和猶大發怒，以致把他們從自己面前趕出去。西底家背叛巴比倫王，

巴比倫王立約雅斤的叔父瑪探雅取代他作王，給瑪探雅改名叫西底家。西底家登基的時候年二十一歲，在耶路撒冷作王十一年。他母親名叫哈慕她，是立拿人耶利米的女兒。

護衛長拿住西萊雅大祭司、西番亞副祭司和門口的三個守衛，又從城中拿住一個管理士兵的官，並在城裏所找到王面前的五個親信，和召募當地百姓之將軍的書記官，以及在城中找到的六十個當地百姓。尼布撒拉旦護衛長把這些人帶到利比拉的巴比倫王那裏。巴比倫王擊殺他們，在哈馬地的利比拉把他們處死。這樣，猶大人就被擄去離開本地。

過了一年，尼布甲尼撒王差遣人將約雅斤和耶和華殿裏寶貴的器皿帶到巴比倫，然後立約雅斤的叔父西底家作猶大和耶路撒冷的王。西底家登基的時候年二十一歲，在耶路撒冷作王十一年。他行耶和華－他神眼中看為惡的事，沒有謙卑聽從耶利米先知所傳達耶和華的話。尼布甲尼撒王曾叫他指着神起誓，他卻背叛，硬着頸項，內心頑固，不歸向耶和華－以色列的神。

還有他們的弟兄在殿裏供職的，共八百二十二名；又有亞大雅；亞大雅是耶羅罕的兒子，耶羅罕是毗拉利的兒子，毗拉利是暗洗的兒子，暗洗是撒迦利亞的兒子，撒迦利亞是巴施戶珥的兒子，巴施戶珥是瑪基雅的兒子；

他的長子約哈難，次子約雅敬，三子西底家，四子沙龍。
