Then I said,“ I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not.

Sometimes I think,“ I will make no mention of his message. I will not speak as his messenger any more.” But then his message becomes like a fire locked up inside of me, burning in my heart and soul. I grow weary of trying to hold it in; I cannot contain it.

我的心在我裡面發熱；我默想的時候，心裡火燒；我就用舌頭說話：

我們看見的聽見的，不能不說！”

靈使我升起，把我提去。那時我心靈忿激、愁苦。耶和華的手強而有力臨到我身上。

保羅在雅典等候他們的時候，看見滿城都是偶像，心靈十分忿激。

我傳福音原是沒有可誇的，因我不能不傳。如果不傳福音，我就有禍了。如果我甘心作這事，就有賞賜；即使不甘心，這職責還是託付我了。

如果我們瘋狂，那是為了神；如果我們清醒，那是為了你們。原來基督的愛催逼著我們，因為我們斷定一個人替眾人死了，眾人就都死了。他替眾人死了，為的是要使活著的人不再為自己活著，卻為那替他們死而復活的主而活。

因此，我心裡充滿耶和華的忿怒，無法容忍。“你要把我的忿怒向街上的孩童傾倒，又傾在聯群集結的年輕人身上。夫妻一起被捉住，年老的、壽高的也不例外。

耶穌說：“手扶著犁向後看的，不適合進神的國。”

這道太初與神同在。萬有是藉著他造的；凡被造的，沒有一樣不是藉著他造的。

以利亞害怕，就起來，逃命去了。他到了猶大的別是巴，就把自己的僕人留在那裡。他自己卻在曠野走了一天的路，來到一棵羅騰樹下，就坐在那裡求死，說：“耶和華啊，現在已經夠了，求你取我的性命吧，因為我並不比我的列祖好。”

其實不是耶穌親自施洗，而是他的門徒施洗），就離開了猶太，再往加利利去。

西拉和提摩太從馬其頓下來的時候，保羅就專心傳揚主的道，向猶太人極力證明耶穌是基督。

巴拿巴有意要帶別號馬可的約翰一同去，但保羅認為不應帶他去，因為他從前在旁非利亞離開過他們，不跟他們一起去作工。
