因為耶和華說，『我要使你和你的朋友都驚慌失措，讓你親眼看見你的朋友死在敵人刀下；我要把猶大人都交在巴比倫王手中，使他們或被殺或被擄到巴比倫；

因耶和华如此说：‘我必使你自觉惊吓，你也必使众朋友惊吓；他们必倒在仇敌的刀下，你也必亲眼看见；我必将犹大人全交在巴比伦王的手中，他要将他们掳到巴比伦去，也要用刀将他们杀戮。

因耶和华如此说：‘看哪，我要使你和你的众朋友惊吓；你们要亲眼看见他们倒在仇敌的刀下。我必将犹大人全都交在巴比伦王的手中，他要把他们掳到巴比伦去，用刀杀他们。

蓋耶和華曰、我必使爾驚惶、爾之友朋因而驚惶、彼必仆於敵刃、為爾目睹、我將付猶大眾於巴比倫王、虜至巴比倫、殺之以刃、

蓋耶和華曰、我將使爾恆有懼心、友朋見爾、莫不悚懼、爾友將亡於刃、使爾目睹、蓋巴比倫王將伐猶大、殺戮殆盡、擄其民人、而反、我使之然。

蓋主如是云、我將使爾驚惶、使爾友朋見爾驚惶、彼將殞亡於敵人之刃、使爾目睹、我亦必以猶大眾、付於巴比倫王手、擄至巴比倫、亦擊之以刃、

For this is what the Lord says:‘ I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends; with your own eyes you will see them fall by the sword of their enemies. I will give all Judah into the hands of the king of Babylon, who will carry them away to Babylon or put them to the sword.

The Lord says to you,‘ I will make you a terror to yourself. You will also be a terror to all your friends. With your own eyes you will see them die. Their enemies will kill them with swords. I will hand over all the people of Judah to the king of Babylon. He will carry them away to Babylon or kill them with swords.

For thus says the Lord: Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. They shall fall by the sword of their enemies while you look on. And I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon. He shall carry them captive to Babylon, and shall strike them down with the sword.

For this is what the Lord says:‘ I will send terror upon you and all your friends, and you will watch as they are slaughtered by the swords of the enemy. I will hand the people of Judah over to the king of Babylon. He will take them captive to Babylon or run them through with the sword.

for this is what the LORD says,‘ I am about to make you a terror to both yourself and those you love. They will fall by the sword of their enemies before your very eyes. I will hand Judah over to the king of Babylon, and he will deport them to Babylon and put them to the sword.

For this is what the Lord says:‘ Behold, I am going to make you a horror to yourself and to all your friends; and while your eyes look on, they will fall by the sword of their enemies. So I will hand all Judah over to the king of Babylon, and he will take them away as exiles to Babylon and will kill them with the sword.

For thus says the Lord:‘ Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends; and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes shall see it. I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive to Babylon and slay them with the sword.

For thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends; and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it; and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive to Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.

For the LORD says,‘ I will make both you and your friends terrified of what will happen to you. You will see all of them die by the swords of their enemies. I will hand all the people of Judah over to the king of Babylon. He will carry some of them away into exile in Babylon and he will kill others of them with the sword.

For Yahweh says,‘ Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. They will fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes will see it. I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will carry them captive to Babylon, and will kill them with the sword.

以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說：『哥賴雅的兒子亞哈和瑪西雅的兒子西底迦以我的名義說假預言，我要把他們交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，讓他當著你們的面處死他們。

我要召集北方各族和我的僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，去攻擊這片土地和其中的居民以及周圍各國。我要徹底毀滅他們，使他們的下場很可怕、令人嗤笑、土地永遠荒涼。這是耶和華說的。

巴比倫王在利比拉當著西底迦的面殺了他的眾子和猶大所有的貴族，並且挖去他的雙眼，把他用銅鏈鎖著帶到巴比倫。

恐懼四面籠罩著他，步步緊追著他。他餓得氣力衰竭，災禍隨時臨到他。疾病侵蝕他的皮肉，死亡吞噬他的肢體。他被拖出安穩的帳篷，被押到冥王那裡。他的帳篷燃燒著烈焰，他的居所撒滿了硫磺。他下面的根莖枯乾，上面的枝子枯萎。他從世上銷聲匿跡，無人記得他的名字。他從光明中被趕入黑暗，他被逐出這個世界。他在本族中無子無孫，他所居之地無人生還。他的下場令西方的人震驚，令東方的人戰慄。這就是不義之人的結局，不認識上帝之人的下場。」

以色列的上帝耶和華說，『看啊，你們與圍城的巴比倫王及其率領的迦勒底人作戰，我要把你們的兵器掉轉過來，我要把它們收集在城中心。我要在烈怒中伸出大能的臂膀下手擊打你們，我要擊打這城裡的居民和牲畜，使他們死於瘟疫。然後，我要把猶大王西底迦及其臣僕以及城中逃過瘟疫、戰爭和饑荒的人都交給巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒等仇敵，使他們落在想殺滅他們的人手中。巴比倫王必殘酷無情地殺戮他們。這是耶和華說的。』「耶利米啊，你要告訴百姓，『耶和華說，看啊，我把生命之路和死亡之路擺在你們面前，留在這城裡的必死於戰爭、饑荒和瘟疫，出城向迦勒底人投降的必保全性命、逃過一死。我必嚴懲這城，向它降禍不降福。它必落在巴比倫王手中，被付之一炬。這是耶和華說的。』

我不會把你家中的人從我壇前滅絕，但留下來的人必使你哭瞎雙眼、傷心欲絕。你的子孫必中年夭亡。

巴比倫王在那裡處死了他們。猶大人就這樣被擄去，離開了家園。

上帝的怒火如雨降在他身上，填滿他的肚腹。他躲過了鐵刃，卻被銅箭射穿。利箭穿透他的後背，閃亮的箭頭刺破他的膽囊，恐怖籠罩著他。他的財寶消失在幽冥中，天火要吞噬他，焚毀他帳篷中殘留的一切。

他們頃刻間被毀滅，在恐怖中徹底滅亡。

他們必為你唱哀歌說，你這海上眾民居住的名城，向來稱雄海上，威震鄰邦，現在怎麼被毀滅了呢？你傾覆的日子，沿海各國都戰戰兢兢，眾海島看見你被毀滅，都心驚膽戰。』「主耶和華說，『我要使你成為荒無人煙的城邑，我要使海水上升淹沒你。那時，我要使你與那些墮入陰間的人一同下到作古之人那裡，使你與那些墮入陰間的人一同住在大地深處久已荒涼的地方，好讓你荒無人煙，在活人之地毫無尊榮。我使你遭受可怕的災難，你便不復存在，就是有人尋找你，也永遠找不到，這是主耶和華說的。』」

巴比倫王在西底迦面前殺了他的眾子，又剜去他的雙眼，把他用銅鏈鎖著押往巴比倫。

「我出賣了清白無辜的人，我犯罪了！」他們說：「那是你自己的事，跟我們有什麼關係？」猶大把錢扔在聖殿裡，出去上吊自盡了。

「以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說，『看啊，我要把我說過的災禍降在這城及其周圍的村莊，因為他們頑固不化，不肯聽我的話。』」

你們在萬邦中將不得安寧，沒有落腳之地，耶和華必使你們膽戰心驚、目光呆滯、精神頹廢。你們必惴惴不安，晝夜恐懼，生死難料。你們必看見可怕之事，以致心中充滿恐懼，早上盼望天黑，晚上盼望天亮。

不要去田野，不要在路上走，因為外面危機四伏，仇敵殺氣騰騰。

「看啊，我是耶和華，是全人類的上帝，難道有我做不到的事嗎？看啊，我要把這城交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒和他率領的迦勒底人手中，讓他們攻取這城。這是耶和華說的。他們必放火焚城，把城中的房屋付之一炬，城中的居民曾在房頂上向巴力燒香、向假神奠酒，惹我發怒。以色列人和猶大人從一開始就行我視為惡的事，他們的所作所為惹我發怒。這是耶和華說的。這城自從建立以來一直惹我發怒，以致我不得不毀滅它。

自己的兒女被外族人擄走，你們終日望眼欲穿，卻無能為力。「與你們素不相識的民族必吃光你們土地的出產和勞碌所得，你們必常受欺壓，以致眼前的一切令你們發瘋。
