因耶和华如此说：‘我必使你自觉惊吓，你也必使众朋友惊吓；他们必倒在仇敌的刀下，你也必亲眼看见；我必将犹大人全交在巴比伦王的手中，他要将他们掳到巴比伦去，也要用刀将他们杀戮。

For this is what the Lord says:‘ I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends; with your own eyes you will see them fall by the sword of their enemies. I will give all Judah into the hands of the king of Babylon, who will carry them away to Babylon or put them to the sword.

The Lord says to you,‘ I will make you a terror to yourself. You will also be a terror to all your friends. With your own eyes you will see them die. Their enemies will kill them with swords. I will hand over all the people of Judah to the king of Babylon. He will carry them away to Babylon or kill them with swords.

For thus says the Lord: Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. They shall fall by the sword of their enemies while you look on. And I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon. He shall carry them captive to Babylon, and shall strike them down with the sword.

For this is what the Lord says:‘ I will send terror upon you and all your friends, and you will watch as they are slaughtered by the swords of the enemy. I will hand the people of Judah over to the king of Babylon. He will take them captive to Babylon or run them through with the sword.

for this is what the LORD says,‘ I am about to make you a terror to both yourself and those you love. They will fall by the sword of their enemies before your very eyes. I will hand Judah over to the king of Babylon, and he will deport them to Babylon and put them to the sword.

For this is what the Lord says:‘ Behold, I am going to make you a horror to yourself and to all your friends; and while your eyes look on, they will fall by the sword of their enemies. So I will hand all Judah over to the king of Babylon, and he will take them away as exiles to Babylon and will kill them with the sword.

For thus says the Lord:‘ Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends; and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes shall see it. I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive to Babylon and slay them with the sword.

For thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends; and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it; and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive to Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.

For the LORD says,‘ I will make both you and your friends terrified of what will happen to you. You will see all of them die by the swords of their enemies. I will hand all the people of Judah over to the king of Babylon. He will carry some of them away into exile in Babylon and he will kill others of them with the sword.

For Yahweh says,‘ Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends. They will fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes will see it. I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will carry them captive to Babylon, and will kill them with the sword.

恐惧四面笼罩着他，步步紧追着他。他饿得气力衰竭，灾祸随时临到他。疾病侵蚀他的皮肉，死亡吞噬他的肢体。他被拖出安稳的帐篷，被押到冥王那里。他的帐篷燃烧着烈焰，他的居所撒满了硫磺。他下面的根茎枯干，上面的枝子枯萎。他从世上销声匿迹，无人记得他的名字。他从光明中被赶入黑暗，他被逐出这个世界。他在本族中无子无孙，他所居之地无人生还。他的下场令西方的人震惊，令东方的人战栗。这就是不义之人的结局，不认识上帝之人的下场。”

以色列的上帝耶和华说，‘看啊，你们与围城的巴比伦王及其率领的迦勒底人作战，我要把你们的兵器掉转过来，我要把它们收集在城中心。我要在烈怒中伸出大能的臂膀下手击打你们，我要击打这城里的居民和牲畜，使他们死于瘟疫。然后，我要把犹大王西底迦及其臣仆以及城中逃过瘟疫、战争和饥荒的人都交给巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒等仇敌，使他们落在想杀灭他们的人手中。巴比伦王必残酷无情地杀戮他们。这是耶和华说的。’“耶利米啊，你要告诉百姓，‘耶和华说，看啊，我把生命之路和死亡之路摆在你们面前，留在这城里的必死于战争、饥荒和瘟疫，出城向迦勒底人投降的必保全性命、逃过一死。我必严惩这城，向它降祸不降福。它必落在巴比伦王手中，被付之一炬。这是耶和华说的。’

我不会把你家中的人从我坛前灭绝，但留下来的人必使你哭瞎双眼、伤心欲绝。你的子孙必中年夭亡。

巴比伦王在那里处死了他们。犹大人就这样被掳去，离开了家园。

上帝的怒火如雨降在他身上，填满他的肚腹。他躲过了铁刃，却被铜箭射穿。利箭穿透他的后背，闪亮的箭头刺破他的胆囊，恐怖笼罩着他。他的财宝消失在幽冥中，天火要吞噬他，焚毁他帐篷中残留的一切。

他们顷刻间被毁灭，在恐怖中彻底灭亡。

他们必为你唱哀歌说，“‘你这海上众民居住的名城，向来称雄海上，威震邻邦，现在怎么被毁灭了呢？你倾覆的日子，沿海各国都战战兢兢，众海岛看见你被毁灭，都心惊胆战。’“主耶和华说，‘我要使你成为荒无人烟的城邑，我要使海水上升淹没你。那时，我要使你与那些堕入阴间的人一同下到作古之人那里，使你与那些堕入阴间的人一同住在大地深处久已荒凉的地方，好让你荒无人烟，在活人之地毫无尊荣。我使你遭受可怕的灾难，你便不复存在，就是有人寻找你，也永远找不到，这是主耶和华说的。’”

巴比伦王在西底迦面前杀了他的众子，又剜去他的双眼，把他用铜链锁着押往巴比伦。

“我出卖了清白无辜的人，我犯罪了！”他们说：“那是你自己的事，跟我们有什么关系？”犹大把钱扔在圣殿里，出去上吊自尽了。

“以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华说，‘看啊，我要把我说过的灾祸降在这城及其周围的村庄，因为他们顽固不化，不肯听我的话。’”

你们在万邦中将不得安宁，没有落脚之地，耶和华必使你们胆战心惊、目光呆滞、精神颓废。你们必惴惴不安，昼夜恐惧，生死难料。你们必看见可怕之事，以致心中充满恐惧，早上盼望天黑，晚上盼望天亮。

不要去田野，不要在路上走，因为外面危机四伏，仇敌杀气腾腾。

“看啊，我是耶和华，是全人类的上帝，难道有我做不到的事吗？看啊，我要把这城交在巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒和他率领的迦勒底人手中，让他们攻取这城。这是耶和华说的。他们必放火焚城，把城中的房屋付之一炬，城中的居民曾在房顶上向巴力烧香、向假神奠酒，惹我发怒。以色列人和犹大人从一开始就行我视为恶的事，他们的所作所为惹我发怒。这是耶和华说的。这城自从建立以来一直惹我发怒，以致我不得不毁灭它。

自己的儿女被外族人掳走，你们终日望眼欲穿，却无能为力。“与你们素不相识的民族必吃光你们土地的出产和劳碌所得，你们必常受欺压，以致眼前的一切令你们发疯。
