王使哈米勒子耶喇滅、押列子西勑亞、押鐵子示利米、執繕寫巴錄、先知耶利米、而賴耶和華秘匿之。

民聽王命、謀害祭司、於耶和華殿院、石擊之。

耶利米奉耶和華命往陀法、述此預言既竟、則詣殿院、立而告眾、曰、萬有之主以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、斯邑及四周之民、強項不從我言、故所言之災、必降其身。

牧伯怒、撻耶利米、在繕寫約拿單之室、有囹圄、幽之於彼。耶利米下獄、囚於蠶室、居彼日久、

有人受欺侮、遭鞭扑、陷縲絏、困囹固、以歷試之、有石擊鋸解、試以禍福、刺以鋒刃、衣綿羊山羊之皮、遨遊無方、困窮、患難、艱辛、

我見婦縱飲聖徒及為耶穌作證者之血、不勝駭異、

爾桎我足、禁我遨遊、限我步履。

魔鬼將爾數人幽囚之、加爾以禍、受難十日、然爾雖受苦、毋畏、當盡忠至死、我必賚爾永生之賞、若加冠冕、

為義而見窘逐者福矣、以天國乃其國也、為我而受人詬誶窘逐、惡言誹謗者福矣、當欣喜歡樂、以在天爾得賞者大也、蓋人窘逐先知、自昔然矣、○

遂起、執使徒下獄、

孰有先知而爾祖不窘逐者乎、昔爾祖殺預言義者將至之人、今義者至、爾即解而誅之、

眾乃執耶利米、解於外獄、哈米勒子馬勒家室有井、以繩縋之下、井無水、惟有淤泥、耶利米遂淖於泥中。王宮內豎古實人以伯米勒、聞人縋耶利米下井、知王坐於便雅憫門、

眾群起攻之、幕府令人褫其衣、杖焉、杖甚、下之獄、命獄吏固守、獄吏受命、下之內獄、以木桎其足、○

執之、因時已暮、囚以待旦、

耶利米以耶和華所命者、悉告庶民、其言既竟、祭司先知、與眾民執之、曰、爾罪當死、

農夫執其僕、扑一、殺一、石擊一、

眾然其言、召使徒入、扑之、命勿以耶穌名訓人、遂釋之、○

是以我遣先知、智人、士子就爾、殺者有之、釘十字架者有之、鞭於會堂者有之、在在窘逐者又有之、致流義人之血於地、罪皆歸爾、自義人亞伯之血、至巴拉家子撒加利亞、爾殺於殿壇間之血、我誠告爾、此事必歸斯世也、耶路撒冷乎、耶路撒冷乎、爾殺先知、石擊奉使者、我欲集爾赤子、似母鷄集雛翼下、已幾何時、惟爾不欲、
