愿那人像被耶和华无情毁灭的城！愿他早晨听见哀鸣，中午听见战争的呐喊，

愿那人像耶和华所倾覆而不顾惜的城市，愿他早晨听见哀号，午间听见战争的吶喊。

願那人像耶和華所傾覆而不後悔的城邑；願他早晨聽見哀聲，晌午聽見吶喊；

願那人像耶和華所傾覆而不憐惜的城鎮；願他早晨聽見哀聲，中午聽見吶喊；

願那人像耶和華所傾覆而不憐惜的城鎮；願他早晨聽見哀聲，中午聽見吶喊；

願那人像被耶和華無情毀滅的城！願他早晨聽見哀鳴，中午聽見戰爭的呐喊，

願那人像耶和華所傾覆而不顧惜的城市，願他早晨聽見哀號，午間聽見戰爭的吶喊。

願那人像永恆主所傾覆的城，而永恆主並不改變心意的；願他早晨聽見哀呼聲，而中午時分又聽見吶喊；

願其人若古邑、為耶和華傾覆而不悔、願彼清晨聞哀號、亭午聞警報、

譬彼古邑、耶和華滅之、始息其怒、清晨則聞呼號、亭午則聞諠譁、

願斯人如彼古邑、主所傾覆而不後悔、願斯人清晨聞呼號、午間聞諠譁、

May that man be like the towns the Lord overthrew without pity. May he hear wailing in the morning, a battle cry at noon.

May that man be like the towns the Lord destroyed without pity. May that man hear loud weeping in the morning. May he hear a battle cry at noon.

Let that man be like the cities that the Lord overthrew without pity; let him hear a cry in the morning and an alarm at noon,

Let him be destroyed like the cities of old that the Lord overthrew without mercy. Terrify him all day long with battle shouts,

Let that man be like the cities the LORD demolished without compassion. Let him hear an outcry in the morning and a war cry at noontime

But may that man be like the cities Which the Lord overthrew without relenting, And may he hear an outcry in the morning And an alarm for war at noon;

And let that man be like the cities Which the Lord overthrew, and did not relent; Let him hear the cry in the morning And the shouting at noon,

And let that man be as the cities which Jehovah overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear a cry in the morning, and shouting at noontime;

Let that man be like the cities the Lord demolished without compassion. Let him hear an outcry in the morning and a war cry at noontime

你使敌军忽然临到他们的时候，愿人听见哀声从他们的屋内发出；因他们挖坑要捉拿我，暗设罗网要绊我的脚。

遍地都被硫磺和盐所侵蚀，不能耕种，没有出产，连草都长不出来，好像耶和华在怒气和愤怒中所倾覆的所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁一样，

从何罗念有哀号声：“荒凉！大毁灭！”“摩押毁灭了！”它的孩童哀号，使人听见。

约拿进城，走了一天，宣告说：“再过四十天，尼尼微要倾覆了！”

万军之耶和华—以色列的上帝说：因此，我指着我的永生起誓：摩押必如所多玛，亚扪人必像蛾摩拉，都变为刺草、盐坑、永远荒废之地。我百姓中剩余的必掳掠他们，我国中的幸存者必得他们的地。

右手是耶路撒冷的占卜，以便安设撞城槌，张口喊杀，扬声呼叫，建土堆，筑堡垒，以撞城槌攻打城门。

我要在战争呐喊的日子，在旋风狂吹时，在拉巴城内放火，吞灭它的宫殿；

他就向耶和华祷告，说：“耶和华啊，这不就是我仍在本国的时候所说的吗？我知道你是有恩惠，有怜悯的上帝，不轻易发怒，有丰盛的慈爱，并且会改变心意，不降那灾难。我就是因为这样，才急速逃往他施去的呀！

我的肺腑啊，我的肺腑啊，我心疼痛！我的心在我里面烦躁不安。我不能静默不言，因我已听见角声和打仗的喊声。

我所说的那一邦若回转离开他们的恶，我就改变心意，不将我想要施行的灾祸降与他们。

当时，耶和华把硫磺与火，从天上耶和华那里降与所多玛和蛾摩拉，把那些城和全平原，城里所有的居民和土地上生长的，都毁灭了。

是吹角呐喊的日子，要攻击坚固的城，攻击高大的城楼。

谁知道上帝也许会回心转意，不发烈怒，使我们不致灭亡。”上帝察看他们的行为，见他们离开恶道，上帝就改变心意，原先所说要降与他们的灾难，他不降了。

现在，要改正你们的所作所为，听从耶和华—你们上帝的话，他就必改变心意，不把所说的灾祸降与你们。

同样，所多玛、蛾摩拉和周围城镇的人也跟着他们一样犯淫乱，随从逆性的情欲，以致遭受永不熄灭之火的惩罚，作为众人的鉴戒。

既然上帝判决了所多玛和蛾摩拉，将二城倾覆，焚烧成灰，作为后世不敬虔人的鉴戒，

以法莲哪，我怎能舍弃你？以色列啊，我怎能弃绝你？我怎能使你如押玛？怎能使你如洗扁？我回心转意，我的怜悯燃了起来。

到罗得离开所多玛的那日，有火与硫磺从天上降下来，把他们全都灭了。

所以在你百姓中必掀起闹哄，你一切的堡垒必被拆毁，就如沙勒幔在争战的日子拆毁伯‧亚比勒，将城中的母子一同摔碎。

我要降火在摩押，吞灭加略的宫殿，摩押必在闹哄、呐喊、吹角声中灭亡；

“我倾覆你们，如同上帝从前倾覆所多玛、蛾摩拉一样；你们好像从火中抢救出来的一根柴，你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。
