願那人像永恆主所傾覆的城，而永恆主並不改變心意的；願他早晨聽見哀呼聲，而中午時分又聽見吶喊；

愿那人像耶和华所倾覆而不后悔的城邑；愿他早晨听见哀声，晌午听见呐喊；

愿那人像耶和华所倾覆而不怜惜的城镇；愿他早晨听见哀声，中午听见呐喊；

愿那人像耶和华所倾覆而不怜惜的城镇；愿他早晨听见哀声，中午听见呐喊；

愿那人像被耶和华无情毁灭的城！愿他早晨听见哀鸣，中午听见战争的呐喊，

愿那人像耶和华所倾覆而不顾惜的城市，愿他早晨听见哀号，午间听见战争的吶喊。

願那人像耶和華所傾覆而不後悔的城邑；願他早晨聽見哀聲，晌午聽見吶喊；

願那人像被耶和華無情毀滅的城！願他早晨聽見哀鳴，中午聽見戰爭的呐喊，

願那人像耶和華所傾覆而不顧惜的城市，願他早晨聽見哀號，午間聽見戰爭的吶喊。

願其人若古邑、為耶和華傾覆而不悔、願彼清晨聞哀號、亭午聞警報、

譬彼古邑、耶和華滅之、始息其怒、清晨則聞呼號、亭午則聞諠譁、

願斯人如彼古邑、主所傾覆而不後悔、願斯人清晨聞呼號、午間聞諠譁、

May that man be like the towns the Lord overthrew without pity. May he hear wailing in the morning, a battle cry at noon.

May that man be like the towns the Lord destroyed without pity. May that man hear loud weeping in the morning. May he hear a battle cry at noon.

Let that man be like the cities that the Lord overthrew without pity; let him hear a cry in the morning and an alarm at noon,

Let him be destroyed like the cities of old that the Lord overthrew without mercy. Terrify him all day long with battle shouts,

Let that man be like the cities the LORD demolished without compassion. Let him hear an outcry in the morning and a war cry at noontime

But may that man be like the cities Which the Lord overthrew without relenting, And may he hear an outcry in the morning And an alarm for war at noon;

And let that man be like the cities Which the Lord overthrew, and did not relent; Let him hear the cry in the morning And the shouting at noon,

And let that man be as the cities which Jehovah overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear a cry in the morning, and shouting at noontime;

Let that man be like the cities the Lord demolished without compassion. Let him hear an outcry in the morning and a war cry at noontime

你使侵掠的匪幫突擊他們時，願人聽見哀呼聲從他們屋裏發出；因為他們挖坑要捉拿我，埋藏網羅要絆我的腳。

又看見遍地有硫磺、有鹽鹵、有火迹，沒有播種，沒有生產，連草都不長，好像所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁傾覆的景象，就是永恆主在怒氣怒火中所傾覆的，

『從何羅念有哀叫的聲音，毁滅和大破毁！摩押破毁了；人使哀叫聲聽到瑣珥。

約拿便進城；走着一天的行程，直宣告說：『再過四十天，尼尼微就覆滅了。』

故此萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝發神諭說：『我指着永活的我來起誓：摩押必像所多瑪，亞捫人必像蛾摩拉，都被刺草和鹽坑佔據，荒涼涼到永遠。我剩下的餘民必擄掠他們，我國中餘剩的人必得着他們以為業。

他右手中拿到有「耶路撒冷」字樣的占卜籤，以便開口叫殺，揚聲吶喊，倒土堆築壘，設撞城錘以攻打城門。

我必在爭戰的日子用吶喊、在旋風之日用風暴點火在拉巴的城牆，燒燬它的宮堡；

他就禱告永恆主說：『哦永恆主啊，我還在我本地的時候、不就這樣說了麼？故此我才急速逃往他施啊；因為我知道你是有恩惠有憐憫的上帝，不輕易發怒，而有豐盛的堅愛，並且能改變心意不降所說的災禍。

我的肺腑啊，我的肺腑啊，我翻騰難過；我心房的牆直跳動着；我的心向我自己在悲歎哀鳴；我不能緘默不作聲；因為我聽見了號角聲，戰爭的吶喊。

我所論到的那一邦若轉回離開他們的壞事，那我就後悔我想要降與他們的災禍了。

當時永恆主從天上、永恆主那裏、下硫磺雨跟火雨、在所多瑪和蛾摩拉上頭；把這些城、和這一片平原、跟城裏所有的居民、連地上所生的、都覆滅了。

是吹號角吶喊的日子，要攻擊有堡壘的城，攻擊高聳的城角樓。

或者上帝改變初衷，回心轉意、不發烈怒，使我們不至於滅亡，也未可知。』上帝看他們所作的，見他們回轉過來、離開他們的壞行徑，上帝對那災禍就改變心意：他說要降與他們的，如今也不降了。

現在呢、你們要改善你們所行所作的，聽從永恆主你們的上帝的聲音，永恆主就必改變心意、不降他所說要降與你們的災禍。

又如所多瑪蛾摩拉以及周圍城市的人，照這些天使的樣子一味行淫，隨從逆性的肉慾，怎樣受着永世之火的處罰，擺在前頭做後人的鑑戒。

上帝既叫所多瑪蛾摩拉城燒成灰燼，判歸傾覆，立做後來行不虔事之人的借鑑，

以法蓮哪，我怎能捨棄你啊！以色列啊，我怎能把你交出啊！我怎能使你如押瑪！使你如洗扁哪！我的心在我裏面翻轉着，我憐愛之情一直熱起來。

但羅得從所多瑪出來那一天，上帝從天上下火雨跟硫磺雨，把他們都滅了。

因此在你眾族人中必起了鬨嚷，你一切有堡壘的城必被毁壞，就如沙勒幔在爭戰的日子毁壞伯亞比勒，有做母親的跟兒女一同被摔死那樣。

我必降火於摩押，燒燬加畧的宮堡；摩押必在鬨嚷中死去，在吶喊中、在號角聲中陣亡。

『我傾覆你們中間的城，如同我傾覆了所多瑪蛾摩拉一樣；你們像一根柴從焚燒中搶救出來；你們仍不回來歸我』：永恆主發神諭說。
