工人雕木偶、鑄金像、俱屬虛偽、口不能言、作之者亦賴之、何益之有、

先知傳虛詞、祭司隨聲附和、國民以此為悅、將若之何。

民牧愚懵、不求耶和華、故不亨通、群民四散。

棄陰私愧恥之事、不行詭譎、不混上帝道、惟表彰真理、質己於眾、在上帝前、

爾稱為猶太人、以律法是依、以識上帝為榮、既習於法、則知其旨、可辨異同、自信為瞽者之相、暗者之光、愚者之師、蒙者之傅、其於律法、有真知之儀範、且爾欲正人、而不正己乎、爾言勿竊、而自竊乎、爾言勿淫、而自淫乎、爾惡偶像、而自干聖乎、爾誇律法、而自犯法、辱上帝乎、上帝名、緣爾謗讟於異邦中、如經所云矣、

其行是、不識父與我故也、

彼以爾典章、示雅各後裔、以爾律法、誨以色列族、彼將炷香於爾前、燔祭於爾壇。

民不知道、以至滅亡、惟爾祭司、厭棄真理、故我棄爾、不為祭司、爾既忘我法度、我不佑爾後人、

奚必自誇為智、得耶和華之律例、繕寫舛謬、盡成偽例。智者迷惑愧恥、不勝憂疑、棄耶和華之道、鳥得為智。耶和華曰、自尊達卑、貪婪無厭、先知祭司俱言詐偽、故其妻室必適他人、其田疇為他人所得、我使之然。醫民之傷、不過皮毛、謂有平康、平康不至。

人述虛誕、無益於事、爾乃信之、

見二邑之民無益、弗能助理、則愧恧靡已、

利盡天下、而失生命者、何益之有、人將以何者易生命乎、

我導斯民、出於埃及、過曠野深坑之地、汲道已絕、陰翳之所、廬舍全無、人蹤罕至、我令此族、入於良田、食其土產、得其嘉物、自是之後、彼乃使我田疇聖業、咸染污衊、深可痛疾、庶民祭司、俱不求予、傳法之師、不識余道、民牧背予、先知託巴力之名而言、所作無益。

至午後、近獻祭之時、彼偽為憑神而言、實無聲響、亦無應對而垂顧之者。

殘賊眾多、毀我園囿、蹂躪我業、使我良田、變為曠野。

維彼所言、真實無妄、不行非義、從事乎我、中心誠恪、以獲平康、爰使眾庶、革其惡行、維彼祭司、宜有智慧、既為萬有之主耶和華所遣、人當就彼、諮諏法度、萬有之主耶和華曰、爾曹叛道、使眾陷罪、爽利未之約、不從我道、偏視我法、故我使眾、藐視爾曹、

爾不識之我識之、若我言不識、則誑如爾、惟我識之、而守其道、

列邦之所為上帝、非上帝也、然未嘗有人棄之、我民昔則歸榮於我、今又棄我、以事無益之物。

以利亞告民曰、耶和華之先知、惟我一人、為巴力之先知者四百五十人、

耶利米曰耶和華與、爾施大力、以捍衛予、我罹患難、爾拯救予、異邦人自地極將至、告曰、我祖所崇事者、誕妄無益。

教法師其有禍乎、蓋爾奪知識之鑰、自不進、而反阻欲進者、○

如違耶和華、從事虛妄、無所裨益、無能援手。

耶利米以眾先知行惡、中心憂傷、筋骸震動、又得耶和華聖言傳示、有若醉人、迷眩於酒。四境之內、靡不行淫、厥口詛咒、其國有愁慘之象、斯人也、作不善、行非義、郊原牧場、盡成槁壤。耶和華曰、先知祭司、所行誕妄、在我殿宇、惡跡已彰、故其途幽暗、滑而難行、我驅逐之、使顛蹶趾、屆期降災。撒馬利亞之先知、託巴力之名振振有詞、欲使我民以色列族舛錯、維我洞見其愚。耶路撒冷之先知、更堪痛疾、行淫詭譎、俾作惡者流、厥志孔強、不悛厥行、予鑒察之、視若所多馬蛾摩拉之人無異。萬有之主耶和華曰耶路撒冷先知、導民行惡、殆遍斯土、我使之茹茶飲酖、

蓋耶和華使爾閉目酣睡、民長先知、均蔽厥心、

斯邦之人、自祭司至先知、縱飲無度、沉湎於酒、至於跬步不能自主、雖目睹異象、而心志仍昏、雖為民折中、而剖決不明。

耶和華曰、我民愚昧、俱不知我、不明孰甚、作惡則智、為善則愚。

又曰、當令野獸、來此吞噬、民之戍卒、目眯不明、守夜之犬、喑不能吠、或偃卧、或假寐。彼甚饕餮、不知饜足、譬彼愚蠢之牧人、無一不縱己欲、不顧私利。彼曰、盍來取酒、縱飲醇醪、明日必多於今日。

以利亞告眾曰、從巴力偽為先知者、爾當執之、毋遺一人。遂執之、以利亞攜至基順溪、悉殺戮焉。

耶和華曰、民牧害我群羊、驅之離散、禍必不遠。以色列族之上帝耶和華告牧民者曰、爾曹驅逐我羊、不加眷顧、我必視爾所為、而降譴責。
