工人雕刻之偶像、何益之有、鑄像與偽師、偽師或作述虛誑之師何益之有、工人作不能言之偶像、賴己所作者、何益之有、或作工人所雕刻之偶像所鎔鑄之偶像虛偽不能應所作之偶像口不能言作之者賴之何益之有

先知傳虛言、祭司賴之掌權、我民以此為悅、及至其終、主降罰之時、爾將何為、

因牧者蒙昧、不尋求主、故不能亨通、其群四散、

棄隱慝可恥之事、不行詭詐、不混天主之道、惟表彰真理、使人之心、在天主前、以我為是、

爾稱為猶太人、以律法是依、以天主為榮、為榮或作自誇既習於律法、得知其旨、能辨是非、自信為瞽者之相、在暗者之光、愚者之師、蒙者之傅、因在律法有知識及真理之模範、然則爾訓他人、而不訓己乎、爾言勿竊、而自竊乎、爾言勿姦、而自姦乎、爾惡偶像、而竊廟中物乎、爾以律法為誇、而自犯律法辱天主乎、天主名緣爾曹受謗讟於異邦人中、如經所載矣、○

彼如此待爾、因不識父與我也、

以主之法度教雅各、以主之律例誨以色列、焚香於主前、獻火焚祭在主之祭臺、

我民因無知滅亡、惟爾為祭司者、厭棄知識、故我厭棄爾、不容爾於我前為祭司、爾既忘爾天主之律法、我亦必忘爾之子女、

爾豈可自誇曰、我儕有智慧、主之律法為我所有、作律法徒然矣、繕寫律法徒然矣、自稱為智者、必愧怍驚恐而見拘、彼棄主言、焉得為智乎、主曰、我必使其妻室歸他人、使其田畝歸他人為業、緣彼自小至大、俱貪不義之財、先知及祭司俱行詭詐、彼輕遽醫我民之傷曰、平康、平康、而無平康、

今爾信無益之虛詞、

見所恃之國、不能益己、則悉羞愧、彼國非但不能濟助、不能加益、反使人受辱蒙羞、

人若盡得天下而失其生命、何益之有、人將以何者易其生命乎、

彼不求我、不念我曾引之出伊及、導之過曠野沙漠坎阱之地、旱乾幽暗幽暗原文作死陰之地、無人經歷無人居處之地、

自午後至獻晚祭時、切求靈顯、切求靈顯或作偽為感神而言亦無聲響、無應者、無顧者、

爾曹不識之、我識之、我若言不識、則為誑者如爾曹、但我識之而守其道、

列邦之神、雖非天主、豈有以此神更易彼神乎、我民竟以無益之神、更易其榮耀之主、

以利亞謂民曰、為主之先知者、惟存我一人、巴力之先知、有四百五十人、

蓋主使爾猶如酣睡、閉爾目、蒙爾首、爾目即先知、爾首即先見、

惟斯人亦被酒迷惑、因醇醪而差謬、祭司與先知被醇醪迷惑、為酒所困、雖得默示、仍然迷惑、行審判俱恍惚無定、

主曰、我民愚拙、俱不知我、蒙昧之子、毫無明哲、惟巧於行惡、不知行善、

田野之諸獸來此吞噬、林中諸獸亦若是、民之守望者、皆瞽目、皆無知、皆似瘖犬不能吠、皆作夢者、偃臥者、貪寢者、此犬又甚饕餮、不知饜足、牧人無知、各行己道、各謀利己、無一人不如此、彼此曰、盍來、我欲取酒、爾我痛飲醇醪、明日亦若是大宴樂、且甚於今日、

以利亞謂之曰、爾曹可執巴力之諸先知、勿使一人逃遁、遂執之、以利亞攜至基順溪、盡殺之、

主曰、牧者使我苑之群羊、喪亡失散、使我苑之群羊喪亡失散或作害我苑之羊使之離散則必有禍、主以色列天主如是云、牧我民之牧者、爾曹分散驅逐我羊、不加眷顧、我必因爾惡行懲罰爾、此乃主所言、
