彼眾未言導我出埃及之耶和華安在、彼引我歷曠野、沙漠坎阱之區、旱乾死亡之地、無人經行、無人居處之境、

我導斯民、出於埃及、過曠野深坑之地、汲道已絕、陰翳之所、廬舍全無、人蹤罕至、我令此族、入於良田、食其土產、得其嘉物、自是之後、彼乃使我田疇聖業、咸染污衊、深可痛疾、庶民祭司、俱不求予、傳法之師、不識余道、民牧背予、先知託巴力之名而言、所作無益。

彼不求我、不念我曾引之出伊及、導之過曠野沙漠坎阱之地、旱乾幽暗幽暗原文作死陰之地、無人經歷無人居處之地、

They did not ask,‘ Where is the Lord, who brought us up out of Egypt and led us through the barren wilderness, through a land of deserts and ravines, a land of drought and utter darkness, a land where no one travels and no one lives?’

They did not ask,‘ Where is the Lord? He brought us up out of Egypt. He led us through a dry and empty land. He guided us through deserts and deep valleys. It was a land of total darkness where there wasn’t any rain. No one lived or traveled there.’

They did not say,‘ Where is the Lord who brought us up from the land of Egypt, who led us in the wilderness, in a land of deserts and pits, in a land of drought and deep darkness, in a land that none passes through, where no man dwells?’

They did not ask,‘ Where is the Lord who brought us safely out of Egypt and led us through the barren wilderness— a land of deserts and pits, a land of drought and death, where no one lives or even travels?’

They stopped asking,“ Where is the LORD who brought us from the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and ravines, through a land of drought and darkness, a land no one traveled through and where no one lived?”

They did not say,‘ Where is the Lord Who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, Who led us through the wilderness, Through a land of deserts and of pits, Through a land of drought and of deep darkness, Through a land that no one crossed And where no person lived?’

Neither did they say,‘ Where is the Lord, Who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, Who led us through the wilderness, Through a land of deserts and pits, Through a land of drought and the shadow of death, Through a land that no one crossed And where no one dwelt?’

Neither said they, Where is Jehovah that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that none passed through, and where no man dwelt?

They stopped asking,“ Where is the Lord who brought us from the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and ravines, through a land of drought and darkness, a land no one traveled through and where no one lived?”

Neither said they, Where[ is] the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?

They did not ask:‘ Where is the LORD who delivered us out of Egypt, who brought us through the wilderness, through a land of desert sands and rift valleys, through a land of drought and deep darkness, through a land in which no one travels, and where no one lives?’

They didn’t say,‘ Where is Yahweh who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that no one passed through, and where no man lived?’

『永恆主遇見他在曠野之地，在荒地中野獸吼叫的荒野；就環繞他，看顧他，保護他像保護眼中的瞳人。

我永恆主你的上帝、領你從埃及地上來的；除了我以外、你沒有同別的神知交，我以外並沒有拯救者。

那時你就心高氣傲，忘記了永恆主你的上帝、那把你從埃及地從為奴之家領出來的。他引領你走過那大而可怕的曠野，那裏有火蛇、有蠍子、有乾渴無水之地；他曾為了你而使水從硬石頭的磐石中流出來。在曠野、他將你列祖所不認識的嗎哪賜給你喫，都是要使你受苦，要試驗你，使你終久得好處；

於是他們想起往古之日，想起主的僕人摩西，說：那將人民、將看顧他全羣的牧人們從海裏領上來的、在哪裏呢？那將他的聖靈降在他們中間的、在哪裏呢？那使他榮美的膀臂在摩西的右手邊行動、在他們面前將水分開、使他們走過深洋、來為他自己立個永遠之名的、在哪裏呢？像馬在曠野裏，他們未曾絆跌；

基甸對他說：『唉，我主啊，永恆主如果與我們同在，我們何至於遭遇這一切事呢？我們的祖宗向我們敘說的、永恆主一切奇妙的作為在哪裏呢？他們說：「永恆主豈不是領我們從埃及上來麼？」現在他卻丟棄了我們，將我們交在米甸人手掌中！』

住在暗中的人民看見了大光；住在死地死陰影裏的人、有光昇現、照着他們。』

藉着神言人永恆主將以色列從埃及領上來，藉着神言人以色列得了保存。

我思想着古時日子，想念到往古年代。

永恆主對摩西、亞倫說：『你要吩咐以色列人轉變方向，在比哈希錄東面、密奪與海之間，在巴力洗分、東面紮營；你要對着巴力洗分、靠着海邊紮營。法老就會說到以色列人的事、說：「以色列人在此地繞迷了；曠野把他們困住了。」我要使法老的心頑強，他就會追趕眾民，我便可以在法老和他的全軍身上得到榮耀，埃及人就知道我乃是永恆主。』於是以色列人就這樣行。有人告訴埃及王說：『以色列民逃走了。』法老和他臣僕對以色列民的心就變了；他們說：『我們讓以色列人走、不再服事我們，我們作了這事甚麼緣故呢？』法老就套上車輛，帶着兵丁一同去，並帶着六百輛特選的車、和埃及所有的車，都有軍官在車上。永恆主使埃及王法老的心頑強，法老就追趕以色列人，以色列人卻以高舉的手出來了。埃及人追趕他們；法老一切的馬匹、車輛、和他的馬兵跟軍隊、就在海邊上靠近比哈希錄、巴力洗分前面、他們紮營的地方，趕上了他們。法老越走越近的時候，以色列人一舉目，看見埃及人前進着趕來，就極其懼怕；向永恆主哀叫，對摩西說：『難道在埃及沒有墳墓，你得把我們帶來，死在曠野麼？你為甚麼這樣待我們，將我們從埃及領出來呢？我們在埃及豈沒有對你說過：「不要管我們，容我們去服事埃及人」麼？「服事埃及人、比死在曠野還好呀！」』摩西對人民說：『不要懼怕，只管站住，看永恆主今天向你們所要施行的拯救；因為你們今天所看見的埃及人，你們再也永遠看不見了。永恆主必為你們爭戰；你們呢，不要作聲。』永恆主對摩西說：『你為甚麼向我哀叫呢？要吩咐以色列人往前行。

卻沒有人說：「造我的上帝在哪裏？他使人夜裏唱詩，

沒有人呼求你的名，沒有人奮發、抓住着你；因為你掩面不顧我們，已把我們送交於我們的罪罰權勢了。

願黑暗漆黑佔領它；願密雲停於其上；願那日的暗翳威嚇它。

在往而不返之先，往黑暗死蔭之地以先，稍有喜色。那是幽暗之地，就像墨漆，死蔭，毫無秩序，就是光照、也像墨漆。』

就把以利亞身上掉下來的外衣擊打河水，說：『永恆主以利亞的上帝現在在哪裏呢？』便擊打了河水；水左右分開，以利沙就過來。

『你去向耶路撒冷人喊叫說：永恆主這麼說：你青年時堅貞之愛，你訂婚期間的愛情，你怎樣在曠野、在未曾耕種之地跟隨了我：我都記得。

雖然他們起誓說：「願永活的永恆主」為證，其實他們是起假誓的。

於他們一切的患難中。並不是大使、不是天使、乃是他自己的臨在、拯救了他們；是以他的愛和憐惜才贖回了他們；是儘往古之日就懷抱了他們，懷搋了他們。

祭司都不查問說：「永恆主在哪裏？」那些處理禮節規矩的都不認識我，牧民者都悖逆了我；神言人藉着巴力去傳神言，隨從着無益的神。

就使我行於漆黑之低谷中，我也不怕遭害；因為是你和我同在；你的棍你的杖、都安慰我。
