Thus says the Lord:“ What injustice have your fathers found in Me, That they have gone far from Me, Have followed idols, And have become idolaters?

耶和华如此说：“你们的列祖见我有什么不义，竟远离我，随从虚无的神，自己成为虚妄的呢？

耶和华如此说：“你们的祖先看我有什么错处，竟远离我，随从那虚无的神明，自己成为虚无呢？

耶和华如此说：“你们的祖先看我有什么错处，竟远离我，随从那虚无的神明，自己成为虚无呢？

耶和华说：“你们的祖先在我身上找到什么过错，以致他们远离我，去追随虚妄的神明，使自己变得虚妄呢？

耶和华这样说：“你们列祖在我身上究竟发现了什么不义，使他们远离我，随从虚无的偶像，自己也成了虚妄呢？

耶和華如此說：你們的列祖見我有甚麼不義，竟遠離我，隨從虛無的神，自己成為虛妄的呢？

耶和華如此說：「你們的祖先看我有甚麼錯處，竟遠離我，隨從那虛無的神明，自己成為虛無呢？

耶和華如此說：「你們的祖先看我有甚麼錯處，竟遠離我，隨從那虛無的神明，自己成為虛無呢？

耶和華說：「你們的祖先在我身上找到什麼過錯，以致他們遠離我，去追隨虛妄的神明，使自己變得虛妄呢？

耶和華這樣說：“你們列祖在我身上究竟發現了甚麼不義，使他們遠離我，隨從虛無的偶像，自己也成了虛妄呢？

永恆主這麼說：『你們列祖見我有甚麼不對，竟遠離了我，去隨從虛無神，而自己成為虛妄呢？

耶和華曰、爾祖視我有何不義、而遐棄我、從事虛無、成為虛妄乎、

耶和華曰、維昔爾祖、見我所為、有何苛政、故背逆予、崇事虛無、所為放誕、

主如是云、昔爾列祖遠離我、從虛無之神、行虛誕之事、曾見我有何不義、

This is what the Lord says:“ What fault did your ancestors find in me, that they strayed so far from me? They followed worthless idols and became worthless themselves.

The Lord says,“ What did your people of long ago find wrong with me? Why did they wander so far away from me? They worshiped worthless statues of gods. Then they themselves became worthless.

Thus says the Lord:“ What wrong did your fathers find in me that they went far from me, and went after worthlessness, and became worthless?

This is what the Lord says:“ What did your ancestors find wrong with me that led them to stray so far from me? They worshiped worthless idols, only to become worthless themselves.

This is what the LORD says: What fault did your ancestors find in me that they went so far from me, followed worthless idols, and became worthless themselves?

This is what the Lord says:“ What injustice did your fathers find in Me, That they went far from Me, And walked after emptiness and became empty?

Thus saith Jehovah, What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

This is what the Lord says: What fault did your fathers find in Me that they went so far from Me, followed worthless idols, and became worthless themselves?

Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

This is what the Lord says:“ What fault could your ancestors have possibly found in me that they strayed so far from me? They paid allegiance to worthless idols, and so became worthless to me.

Yahweh says,“ What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after worthless vanity, and have become worthless?

And they rejected His statutes and His covenant that He had made with their fathers, and His testimonies which He had testified against them; they followed idols, became idolaters, and went after the nations who were all around them, concerning whom the Lord had charged them that they should not do like them.

because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

“ Those who regard worthless idols Forsake their own Mercy.

They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not God; They have moved Me to anger by their foolish idols. But I will provoke them to jealousy by those who are not a nation; I will move them to anger by a foolish nation.

Everyone is dull-hearted, without knowledge; Every metalsmith is put to shame by the carved image; For his molded image is falsehood, And there is no breath in them.They are futile, a work of errors; In the time of their punishment they shall perish.

Those who make them are like them; So is everyone who trusts in them.

Those who make an image, all of them are useless, And their precious things shall not profit; They are their own witnesses; They neither see nor know, that they may be ashamed.

Everyone is dull-hearted, without knowledge; Every metalsmith is put to shame by an image; For his molded image is falsehood, And there is no breath in them.They are futile, a work of errors; In the time of their punishment they shall perish.

And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing.

Hear, O you mountains, the LORD’s complaint, And you strong foundations of the earth; For the Lord has a complaint against His people, And He will contend with Israel.“ O My people, what have I done to you? And how have I wearied you? Testify against Me.

and saying,“ Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men with the same nature as you, and preach to you that you should turn from these useless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them,

“ And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, Judge, please, between Me and My vineyard.What more could have been done to My vineyard That I have not done in it? Why then, when I expected it to bring forth good grapes, Did it bring forth wild grapes?

“ O generation, see the word of the Lord! Have I been a wilderness to Israel, Or a land of darkness? Why do My people say,‘ We are lords; We will come no more to You’?

Are there any among the idols of the nations that can cause rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Are You not He, O Lord our God? Therefore we will wait for You, Since You have made all these.

Therefore the Lord said:“ Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,

But they are altogether dull-hearted and foolish; A wooden idol is a worthless doctrine.

‘ These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.

You have planted them, yes, they have taken root; They grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth But far from their mind.

“ Son of man, your brethren, your relatives, your countrymen, and all the house of Israel in its entirety, are those about whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said,‘ Get far away from the Lord; this land has been given to us as a possession.’

“ But you have not called upon Me, O Jacob; And you have been weary of Me, O Israel.You have not brought Me the sheep for your burnt offerings, Nor have you honored Me with your sacrifices. I have not caused you to serve with grain offerings, Nor wearied you with incense.
