这世代的人哪！你们要注意耶和华的话：‘对以色列人来说，难道我是旷野，或是黑暗的地方？我的子民为什么说：我们自由了，不再到你那里去了？

這世代的人哪！你們要注意耶和華的話：‘對以色列人來說，難道我是曠野，或是黑暗的地方？我的子民為甚麼說：我們自由了，不再到你那裡去了？

但你們呢，這世代的人哪，你們要看明白永恆主的話。難道我對以色列竟成了曠野？或是極幽暗之地？我的人民為甚麼說：「我們漫遊無拘了；我們再也不來歸你了」？

斯世之人歟、當明耶和華之言、我於以色列族、豈為幽曠之野、杳冥之域乎、我民奚曰、我已放縱、不復詣爾、

斯世之人、宜聽我言、我眷佑以色列族、詎若幽曠之野、杳冥之域哉。何以我民放縱、不肯詣予。

爾曹斯代之人、當聽我言、我於以色列人、豈曾如曠野、豈曾如幽暗之地乎、我民何故言曰、我欲離約束自由、我欲離約束自由或作我欲飄流不復歸爾、

“ You of this generation, consider the word of the Lord:“ Have I been a desert to Israel or a land of great darkness? Why do my people say,‘ We are free to roam; we will come to you no more’?

“ You who are now living, consider my message. I am saying,“ Have I been like a desert to Israel? Have I been like a land of deep darkness? Why do my people say,‘ We are free to wander. We won’t come to you anymore’?

And you, O generation, behold the word of the Lord. Have I been a wilderness to Israel, or a land of thick darkness? Why then do my people say,‘ We are free, we will come no more to you’?

“ O my people, listen to the words of the Lord! Have I been like a desert to Israel? Have I been to them a land of darkness? Why then do my people say,‘ At last we are free from God! We don’t need him anymore!’

Evil generation, pay attention to the word of the LORD! Have I been a wilderness to Israel or a land of dense darkness? Why do my people claim,“ We will go where we want; we will no longer come to you”?

You generation, look to the word of the Lord. Have I been a wilderness to Israel, Or a land of thick darkness? Why do My people say,‘ We are free to roam; We will no longer come to You’?

O generation, see ye the word of Jehovah. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? or a land of thick darkness? wherefore say my people, We are broken loose; we will come no more unto thee?

Evil generation, pay attention to the word of the Lord! Have I been a wilderness to Israel or a land of dense darkness? Why do My people claim,“ We will go where we want; we will no longer come to You”?

O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?

You people of this generation, listen to what the LORD says.“ Have I been like a wilderness to you, Israel? Have I been like a dark and dangerous land to you? Why then do you say,‘ We are free to wander. We will not come to you any more?’

Generation, consider Yahweh’s word. Have I been a wilderness to Israel? Or a land of thick darkness? Why do my people say,‘ We have broken loose. We will come to you no more?’

免得我飽足了，就否認你，說：「耶和華是誰呢？」又免得我陷入窮困，就去偷竊，以致干犯了我神的名。

你們已經飽足了，已經富有了，沒有我們，自己就做王了！我真希望你們真做王，好讓我們也與你們一同做王！

惡人面帶高傲，不尋求耶和華；他所有的心思中都沒有神。

我知道你的行為，你既不冷也不熱；我真希望你或冷或熱。正因為你是溫的，既不熱也不冷，我就要把你從我口中吐出去，因為你說『我是富有的；我發了財，什麼都不缺』，卻不知道你是可悲的、可憐的、貧窮的、瞎眼的、赤身的。

拿單對大衛說：「你就是那人！耶和華以色列的神如此說：『我膏立你為以色列的王，解救你脫離掃羅的手。我把你主人的家交給你，把你主人的妃嬪交在你懷中，又把以色列和猶大家交給了你。如果這些還不夠，我會增添給你更多；但你為什麼藐視耶和華的話，做他眼中看為惡的事呢？你用刀劍擊殺了赫提人烏利亞，又娶他的妻子作你的妻子，你藉著亞捫人的刀劍殺了他！

他們說：「我們要靠舌頭強盛，我們的嘴唇是自己的，誰是我們的主呢？」

你們受嚴厲的詛咒，是因為你們在搶奪我，你們全國的人都在搶奪我。」萬軍之耶和華說：「你們要把當納的十分之一全都帶進庫房，好使我的家中有糧食；藉此試驗我是否會為你們打開天上的窗戶，把祝福傾倒在你們身上，直到你們充足滿溢。」萬軍之耶和華說：「我必為你們斥責吞噬者，使牠不毀掉你們土地的出產，也不使你們田地中的葡萄樹掉落果實。

我沒有在隱祕處、沒有在黑暗之地說話，也沒有對雅各的後裔說：『你們在空虛中尋找我吧！』我耶和華講說公義，宣告正直。
