“ Go and cry in the hearing of Jerusalem, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ I remember you, The kindness of your youth, The love of your betrothal, When you went after Me in the wilderness, In a land not sown.

“你去告诉耶路撒冷人，‘耶和华说，我记得你们年轻时对我充满热情，爱我如新娘爱新郎，跟随我穿越旷野，穿越不毛之地。

『你去向耶路撒冷人喊叫說：永恆主這麼說：你青年時堅貞之愛，你訂婚期間的愛情，你怎樣在曠野、在未曾耕種之地跟隨了我：我都記得。

爾往、向耶路撒冷呼曰、耶和華云、我憶爾少年之戀慕、和親之愛情、彼時爾從我於野、未經耕種之地、

俾我告耶路撒冷人、宣播其言、曰、我憶在昔、邦國肇造、爾行於野、無人耕種之地、當時我眷愛爾、若納聘之幼女。

爾往哉、向耶路撒冷居民、大聲宣告曰、主如是云、我憶爾幼時從我在野、無人耕種之地、當時爾慕我、愛我、如新婦之愛新娶者、當時爾慕我愛我如新婦之愛新娶者或作當時我施恩於爾愛爾如新婦

“ Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem:“ This is what the Lord says:“‘ I remember the devotion of your youth, how as a bride you loved me and followed me through the wilderness, through a land not sown.

“ Go. Announce my message to the people in Jerusalem. I want everyone to hear it. Tell them,“ Here is what the Lord says.“‘ I remember how faithful you were to me when you were young. You loved me as if you were my bride. You followed me through the desert. Nothing had been planted there.

“ Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says the Lord,“ I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.

“ Go and shout this message to Jerusalem. This is what the Lord says:“ I remember how eager you were to please me as a young bride long ago, how you loved me and followed me even through the barren wilderness.

“ Go and announce directly to Jerusalem that this is what the LORD says: I remember the loyalty of your youth, your love as a bride— how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.

“ Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ I remember regarding you the devotion of your youth, Your love when you were a bride, Your following after Me in the wilderness, Through a land not sown.

Go, and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith Jehovah, I remember for thee the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals; how thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

“ Go and announce directly to Jerusalem that this is what the Lord says: I remember the loyalty of your youth, your love as a bride— how you followed Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.

Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land[ that was] not sown.

“ Go and declare in the hearing of the people of Jerusalem:‘ This is what the LORD says:“ I have fond memories of you, how devoted you were to me in your early years. I remember how you loved me like a new bride; you followed me through the wilderness, through a land that had never been planted.

“ Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying,‘ Yahweh says,“ I remember for you the kindness of your youth, the love of your weddings; how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

“ When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” says the Lord God.

“ Nevertheless I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.

“ For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.”’

So Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said,“ All the words which the Lord has said we will do.”And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord. And he rose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel.Then he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord.And Moses took half the blood and put it in basins, and half the blood he sprinkled on the altar.Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said,“ All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.”And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you according to all these words.”

Neither did they say,‘ Where is the Lord, Who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, Who led us through the wilderness, Through a land of deserts and pits, Through a land of drought and the shadow of death, Through a land that no one crossed And where no one dwelt?’

I will give her her vineyards from there, And the Valley of Achor as a door of hope; She shall sing there, As in the days of her youth, As in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.

“ Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say,‘ Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the Lord!’”

Then the Lord said to me,“ Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying:‘ Hear the words of this covenant and do them.

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord And the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, According to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses.For He said,“ Surely they are My people, Children who will not lie.” So He became their Savior.In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the Angel of His Presence saved them; In His love and in His pity He redeemed them; And He bore them and carried them All the days of old.But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, And He fought against them.Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying:“ Where is He who brought them up out of the sea With the shepherd of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within them,Who led them by the right hand of Moses, With His glorious arm, Dividing the water before them To make for Himself an everlasting name,Who led them through the deep, As a horse in the wilderness, That they might not stumble?”As a beast goes down into the valley, And the Spirit of the Lord causes him to rest, So You lead Your people, To make Yourself a glorious name.

And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

Moreover You led them by day with a cloudy pillar, And by night with a pillar of fire, To give them light on the road Which they should travel.“ You came down also on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven, And gave them just ordinances and true laws, Good statutes and commandments.You made known to them Your holy Sabbath, And commanded them precepts, statutes and laws, By the hand of Moses Your servant.You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger, And brought them water out of the rock for their thirst, And told them to go in to possess the land Which You had sworn to give them.“ But they and our fathers acted proudly, Hardened their necks, And did not heed Your commandments.They refused to obey, And they were not mindful of Your wonders That You did among them. But they hardened their necks, And in their rebellion They appointed a leader To return to their bondage. But You are God, Ready to pardon, Gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, Abundant in kindness, And did not forsake them.“ Even when they made a molded calf for themselves, And said,‘ This is your god That brought you up out of Egypt,’ And worked great provocations,Yet in Your manifold mercies You did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of the cloud did not depart from them by day, To lead them on the road; Nor the pillar of fire by night, To show them light, And the way they should go.You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, And did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, And gave them water for their thirst.Forty years You sustained them in the wilderness; They lacked nothing; Their clothes did not wear out And their feet did not swell.

“ Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.

who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, in which were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land where there was no water; who brought water for you out of the flinty rock;who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do you good in the end—

Thus Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt; so the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord and His servant Moses.Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and spoke, saying:“ I will sing to the Lord, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.The Lord is a man of war; The Lord is His name.Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea.The depths have covered them; They sank to the bottom like a stone.“ Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces.And in the greatness of Your excellence You have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; It consumed them like stubble.And with the blast of Your nostrils The waters were gathered together; The floods stood upright like a heap; The depths congealed in the heart of the sea.The enemy said,‘ I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, My hand shall destroy them.’You blew with Your wind, The sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters.“ Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?You stretched out Your right hand; The earth swallowed them.You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation.“ The people will hear and be afraid; Sorrow will take hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.Then the chiefs of Edom will be dismayed; The mighty men of Moab, Trembling will take hold of them; All the inhabitants of Canaan will melt away.Fear and dread will fall on them; By the greatness of Your arm They will be as still as a stone, Till Your people pass over, O Lord, Till the people pass over Whom You have purchased.You will bring them in and plant them In the mountain of Your inheritance, In the place, O Lord, which You have made For Your own dwelling, The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established.“ The Lord shall reign forever and ever.”For the horses of Pharaoh went with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and the Lord brought back the waters of the sea upon them. But the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took the timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

Also Moses said,“ This shall be seen when the Lord gives you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to the full; for the Lord hears your complaints which you make against Him. And what are we? Your complaints are not against us but against the Lord.”

She has never given up her harlotry brought from Egypt, For in her youth they had lain with her, Pressed her virgin bosom, And poured out their immorality upon her.

And go out to the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the Potsherd Gate; and proclaim there the words that I will tell you,

“ Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.”

Then one from the crowd said to Him,“ Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

Go forth, O daughters of Zion, And see King Solomon with the crown With which his mother crowned him On the day of his wedding, The day of the gladness of his heart.

“ Yet she multiplied her harlotry In calling to remembrance the days of her youth, When she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares.

Does not wisdom cry out, And understanding lift up her voice?She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, Beside the way, where the paths meet.She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors:“ To you, O men, I call, And my voice is to the sons of men.

And in all your abominations and acts of harlotry you did not remember the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare, struggling in your blood.

“ Set the trumpet to your mouth! He shall come like an eagle against the house of the Lord, Because they have transgressed My covenant And rebelled against My law.

They committed harlotry in Egypt, They committed harlotry in their youth; Their breasts were there embraced, Their virgin bosom was there pressed.
