Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land[ that was] not sown.

“你去告诉耶路撒冷人，‘耶和华说，我记得你们年轻时对我充满热情，爱我如新娘爱新郎，跟随我穿越旷野，穿越不毛之地。

“你去在耶路撒冷人的耳中呼叫，说：‘耶和华这样说：你年轻时的恩爱，新婚时的爱情，你怎样在旷野、在未曾耕种之地跟从我，我都记得。

『你去向耶路撒冷人喊叫說：永恆主這麼說：你青年時堅貞之愛，你訂婚期間的愛情，你怎樣在曠野、在未曾耕種之地跟隨了我：我都記得。

爾往、向耶路撒冷呼曰、耶和華云、我憶爾少年之戀慕、和親之愛情、彼時爾從我於野、未經耕種之地、

俾我告耶路撒冷人、宣播其言、曰、我憶在昔、邦國肇造、爾行於野、無人耕種之地、當時我眷愛爾、若納聘之幼女。

爾往哉、向耶路撒冷居民、大聲宣告曰、主如是云、我憶爾幼時從我在野、無人耕種之地、當時爾慕我、愛我、如新婦之愛新娶者、當時爾慕我愛我如新婦之愛新娶者或作當時我施恩於爾愛爾如新婦

“ Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem:“ This is what the Lord says:“‘ I remember the devotion of your youth, how as a bride you loved me and followed me through the wilderness, through a land not sown.

“ Go. Announce my message to the people in Jerusalem. I want everyone to hear it. Tell them,“ Here is what the Lord says.“‘ I remember how faithful you were to me when you were young. You loved me as if you were my bride. You followed me through the desert. Nothing had been planted there.

“ Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says the Lord,“ I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.

“ Go and shout this message to Jerusalem. This is what the Lord says:“ I remember how eager you were to please me as a young bride long ago, how you loved me and followed me even through the barren wilderness.

“ Go and announce directly to Jerusalem that this is what the LORD says: I remember the loyalty of your youth, your love as a bride— how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.

“ Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ I remember regarding you the devotion of your youth, Your love when you were a bride, Your following after Me in the wilderness, Through a land not sown.

“ Go and cry in the hearing of Jerusalem, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ I remember you, The kindness of your youth, The love of your betrothal, When you went after Me in the wilderness, In a land not sown.

Go, and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith Jehovah, I remember for thee the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals; how thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

“ Go and announce directly to Jerusalem that this is what the Lord says: I remember the loyalty of your youth, your love as a bride— how you followed Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.

“ Go and declare in the hearing of the people of Jerusalem:‘ This is what the LORD says:“ I have fond memories of you, how devoted you were to me in your early years. I remember how you loved me like a new bride; you followed me through the wilderness, through a land that had never been planted.

“ Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying,‘ Yahweh says,“ I remember for you the kindness of your youth, the love of your weddings; how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time[ was] the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.

Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.

For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God[ hath been] with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.And Moses took half of the blood, and put[ it] in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled[ it] on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

Neither said they, Where[ is] the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?

And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

Stand in the gate of the LORD’S house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all[ ye of] Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD,[ and] the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.For he said, Surely they[ are] my people, children[ that] will not lie: so he was their Saviour.In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy,[ and] he fought against them.Then he remembered the days of old, Moses,[ and] his people,[ saying], Where[ is] he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where[ is] he that put his holy Spirit within him?That led[ them] by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?That led them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness,[ that] they should not stumble?As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.

And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee,[ and] to prove thee, to know what[ was] in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go.Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:And gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them.But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou[ art] a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.Yea, when they had made them a molten calf, and said, This[ is] thy God that brought thee up out of Egypt, and had wrought great provocations;Yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar of fire by night, to shew them light, and the way wherein they should go.Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst.Yea, forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness,[ so that] they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not.

Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness,[ wherein were] fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where[ there was] no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.The LORD[ is] my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he[ is] my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.The LORD[ is] a man of war: the LORD[ is] his name.Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath,[ which] consumed them as stubble.And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap,[ and] the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.Who[ is] like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who[ is] like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful[ in] praises, doing wonders?Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people[ which] thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided[ them] in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.The people shall hear,[ and] be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be[ as] still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over,[ which] thou hast purchased.Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance,[ in] the place, O LORD,[ which] thou hast made for thee to dwell in,[ in] the Sanctuary, O Lord,[ which] thy hands have established.The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry[ land] in the midst of the sea.And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

And Moses said,[ This shall be], when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what[ are] we? your murmurings[ are] not against us, but against the LORD.

Neither left she her whoredoms[ brought] from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.

And go forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which[ is] by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell thee,

Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.

Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.

Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:

Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice[ is] to the sons of man.

And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare,[ and] wast polluted in thy blood.

[ Set] the trumpet to thy mouth.[ He shall come] as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.

And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.
