I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and daughters, and they will eat one another’s flesh because their enemies will press the siege so hard against them to destroy them.’

当我百姓遭毁灭的时候，慈心的妇人亲手烹煮自己的儿女为食物。

有人右边抢夺，犹受饥饿；左边吞吃，仍不饱足，各人吃自己膀臂上的肉。

在你中间，父亲要吃儿子，儿子要吃父亲。我必向你施行审判，将你剩下的人分散四方。

耶和华啊，求你观看，留意你向谁这样行。妇人岂可吃自己所生、所抚育的婴孩吗？祭司和先知岂可在主的圣所中被杀吗？

你在仇敌围困的窘迫中，必吃你本身所生的，就是耶和华—你上帝所赐给你的儿女之肉。你中间，连那温和文雅的人都必冷眼恶待自己的兄弟和怀中的妻子，以及他所剩下其余的儿女，不把所吃儿女的肉分一点给他们任何一个人，因为在被仇敌围困、陷入窘迫的各城中，他已经一无所剩了。你中间柔顺娇嫩的妇人，甚至因柔顺娇嫩脚不肯踏地的妇人，也必冷眼恶待她怀中的丈夫和自己的儿女。在被仇敌围困、陷入窘迫的城镇中，她因缺乏一切，就要暗中把从她两腿中间出来的胞衣和所生下的儿女吃了。

一日，以色列王在城墙上经过，有一个妇人向他呼叫说：“我主，我王啊！求你帮助。”王说：“耶和华不帮助你，我从哪里帮助你呢？是从禾场，或从压酒池吗？”王对妇人说：“你有什么事？”她说：“这妇人对我说：‘把你的儿子交出来，我们今日可以吃他，明日可以吃我的儿子。’我们就煮了我的儿子吃了。次日我对她说：‘要把你的儿子交出来，我们可以吃。’她却把她的儿子藏起来。”
