“ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:‘ Listen! I am going to bring on this city and all the villages around it every disaster I pronounced against them, because they were stiff- necked and would not listen to my words.’”

“ The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,‘ Listen! I am going to punish this city and all the villages around it. I am going to bring against them all the trouble I have announced. That’s because my people were stubborn. They would not listen to what I said.’ ”

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, behold, I am bringing upon this city and upon all its towns all the disaster that I have pronounced against it, because they have stiffened their neck, refusing to hear my words.”

“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:‘ I will bring disaster upon this city and its surrounding towns as I promised, because you have stubbornly refused to listen to me.’”

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all its towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it; because they have made their neck stiff, that they may not hear my words.

“ This is what the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says:‘ I am about to bring on this city— and on all its dependent villages— all the disaster that I spoke against it, for they have become obstinate, not obeying My words.’”

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.

“ The LORD God of Israel who rules over all says,‘ I will soon bring on this city and all the towns surrounding it all the disaster I threatened to do to it. I will do so because they have stubbornly refused to pay any attention to what I have said!’”

“ Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says,‘ Behold, I will bring on this city and on all its towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have made their neck stiff, that they may not hear my words.’”

你警告他們，要使他們遵守你的律法，但他們行事狂傲，不聽從你的誡命，干犯你的典章。人若遵行這典章就必存活，但他們背棄你，頑固不化，不肯聽從。

他們拒絕聽從，忘記了你為他們所行的奇事，頑固不化，自立首領要回埃及做奴隸。但你是樂意饒恕，有恩典，有憐憫，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛的上帝，你沒有離棄他們。

他們卻嘲弄耶和華上帝的使者，藐視祂的話，嘲笑祂的先知，以致祂的憤怒臨到祂的子民身上，無可挽救。耶和華使迦勒底人的王起兵攻打他們，在他們的聖殿裡用刀擊殺他們的壯丁，毫不憐憫少男少女、老人和年高者。耶和華把他們全部交在他的手中。

我再三差遣我的僕人——眾先知勸你們改邪歸正，不要追隨、祭拜別的神明，以便你們可以在我賜給你們和你們祖先的土地上安居樂業，你們卻充耳不聞，毫不理會。利甲的兒子約拿達的子孫尚且聽從他們祖先的吩咐，你們卻不聽從我的話。因此，以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華說，我要給猶大和耶路撒冷的居民降下我說過的災禍。因為我對他們說話，他們不聽；我呼喚他們，他們不理會。』」

他們卻不理會，背過身去，充耳不聞，心如鐵石，不遵從律法，也不遵從萬軍之耶和華藉著祂的靈指示從前的先知所說的話。因此，萬軍之耶和華非常憤怒。祂說，『我曾呼喚他們，他們不聽；將來他們呼求我，我也不聽。我要用旋風把他們吹散到陌生的萬國中，使他們的土地荒涼、杳無人跡，因為他們使美好的土地一片荒涼。』」

「你們這些頑固不化、耳不聽心不悔的人，經常抗拒聖靈，所作所為和你們的祖先如出一轍！哪一位先知沒有被你們祖先迫害？那些預言義者——彌賽亞要來的人也被你們的祖先殺害。如今你們竟出賣了那位公義者，殺害了祂！

不，你們心中圖謀不義，你們在地上行兇作惡。惡人生下來就步入歧途，一出母胎就離開正道，謊話連篇。他們像噴出毒液的毒蛇，又像耳聾的眼鏡蛇，任法師的邪術再高超，也聽不見他的咒語。
