Jeremiah then returned from Topheth, where the Lord had sent him to prophesy, and stood in the court of the Lord’s temple and said to all the people,

“你去向陶匠买一个瓦瓶，带着百姓和祭司中的一些首领到哈珥西城门旁的欣嫩子谷，在那里宣告我的话。你要说，‘犹大王和耶路撒冷的居民啊，你们要听耶和华的话！以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华说，看啊，我要在这里降下灾祸，听见这消息的人都必耳鸣。

耶和华对我说：“你去站在犹大君王出入的城门前和耶路撒冷的各城门前，

上帝的灵感动了耶何耶大祭司的儿子撒迦利亚，他便站在高处对民众说：“耶和华上帝这样说，‘你们为什么违反耶和华的诫命，以致不得亨通呢？既然你们背弃我，我也必离弃你们。’”他们想谋害撒迦利亚，就照着王的命令，在耶和华殿的院子里用石头打死了他。

耶稣每天在圣殿里讲道，晚上则到城外的橄榄山上过夜。百姓一早都赶去圣殿听祂的教导。

说：“你们到圣殿去，把这生命之道传给百姓。”
