但你呢、永恆主啊，你深知道他們要害我到死的一切計謀啊。不要赦除他們的罪孽哦！不要從你面前塗抹他們的罪哦！使他們在你面前被摔倒吧！願你發怒時罰辨他們。

主知其欲殺我之謀、勿赦宥其愆、勿塗抹其罪於主前、使之於主前顛蹶傾仆、主震怒之時、待之若是、

But you, Lord, know all their plots to kill me. Do not forgive their crimes or blot out their sins from your sight. Let them be overthrown before you; deal with them in the time of your anger.

願他祖宗的罪孽被永恆主記得；願他母親的罪不被塗抹。願這些罪不斷在永恆主面前，使他的遺跡都從地上被剪滅；

願他們的筵席在他們面前變為機檻；願他們的平安祭筵變為誘餌。願他們的眼睛昏矇、不能看見；願他們的腰不斷地戰抖搖晃。求你將你的盛怒倒在他們身上，叫你的猛烈怒氣趕上他們。願他們的營房變為荒涼；願他們的帳棚無人居住。因為你所擊打的、他們就逼迫；你所擊傷的、他們就加上痛苦。願你在他們的罪罰上加上罪罰；別讓他們不被定罪。願他們從生命冊上被塗抹，不得和義人一同被記錄。

卑賤人俯首屈抑，尊貴人降低；你不要高舉他們。

願那尋索我命的、失敗狼狽；願那設計害我的、退後受辱。

我們的上帝啊，求你垂聽我們怎樣地被藐視；求你使他們的毁謗回到他們自己的頭上，使他們在被擄之地作為被掠之物。不要遮掩他們的罪孽，不要將他們的罪從你面前塗抹掉；因為他們在修造的人面前惹你發怒。

萬軍之上帝永恆主啊，惟獨你是以色列的上帝；求你醒起，來察罰列國；不要恩待那些背信行惡的人。（細拉）

因為那些日子是報應的日子，使所記載的都得應驗。

他們就說：『來吧，我們來設計謀害耶利米；因為祭司有禮節規矩，智慧人有謀略，神言人有話語，都不能斷絕掉。來吧，我們用口舌攻擊他，他的甚麼話、我們都別理它。』

永恆主指點我知，我就知道；那時你將他們所行的指給我看。我卻像柔順的羊羔，被牽到屠殺之地。我並不知道他們設計謀是要害死我；他們說：『我們來把樹連樹汁都滅掉，將他從活人之地剪除掉，使他的名不再被記念。』但萬軍之永恆主、按公義判斷的啊，試驗人心腸心思的啊，我卻要見你在他們身上加以報復；因為我已將我的案件向你稟明。

惡人窺伺着義人，想法子要殺死他。永恆主卻不撇棄他於惡人手中，當審判時也不定他為惡。

他們行了可厭惡的事、覺得慚愧麼？不，他們一點也不慚愧，也不知羞恥；因此他們必在仆倒的人中間仆倒；我察罰他們時、他們必致傾覆：這是永恆主說的。

然而你竟依順你的剛愎和不悔改的心、為自己積聚着上帝的義怒、於上帝義怒的日子，就是上帝公義的刑罰顯示出來的日子；

必沒有餘剩的人留給他們；因為當他們被察罰的年日、我必使災禍臨到亞拿突人。』

當察罰的日子、有風暴從遠方趕來，你們要怎樣行呢？你們要向誰逃奔去得救助呢？你們的財寶要撇在哪裏呢？

你是知道的；永恆主啊，記起我，眷顧我；向逼迫我的人為我報復吧！不要向他們忍怒來要我的命哦。要知道我為了你的緣故是怎樣擔受了
