它中间的雇佣兵像棚里的肥牛犊，他们一同转身逃跑，没有一个站立得住；因为他们遭灾的日子、受惩罚的时候，已经临到他们身上。

你的心不可偏向淫妇的道路，也不要迷恋她的路径。因为她使许多人倒毙，被她杀害的实在无数。

耶和华必使你在仇敌面前被击败；你从一条路出去攻击他们，必在他们面前从七条路逃跑；你必成为天下万国惊骇的对象。

你们竟离弃了我，服事别的神，因此我不再拯救你们了。你们去向你们拣选的神呼求吧！让他们在你们遭遇患难的时候拯救你们吧。”

到了那日，我必向他们大发烈怒，离弃他们，掩面不顾他们，他们就必被吞灭，并且遭遇很多灾祸和患难。到了那日，他们必说：‘我们遭遇这些灾祸，不是因为我们的神不在我们中间吗？’

耶和华必使你分散在万民中，从地的这边到地的那边；在那里你要事奉你和你的列祖不认识的别的神，就是木头和石头做的神。

等到他们失足的时候，我要伸冤报应；因为他们遭遇灾难的日子近了，那预备要临到他们身上的事，必快快临到。
