and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it.

And then it does what is evil in my eyes. It does not obey me. Then I will think again about the good things I had wanted to do for it.

义人若转离义行而作罪孽，照着恶人所行一切可憎的事而行，他岂能存活吗？他所行的一切义都不被记念；他必因所犯的罪、所行的恶死亡。

“我立扫罗为王，我后悔了；因为他转去不跟从我，不遵守我的命令。”撒母耳便甚忧愁，终夜哀求耶和华。

至于那偏行弯曲道路的人，耶和华必使他和作恶的人一同出去受刑。愿平安归于以色列！

撒母耳直到死的日子，再没有见扫罗；但撒母耳为扫罗悲伤，是因耶和华后悔立他为以色列的王。

我只吩咐他们这一件说：‘你们当听从我的话，我就作你们的神，你们也作我的子民。你们行我所吩咐的一切道，就可以得福。’他们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟随从自己的计谋和顽梗的恶心，向后不向前。自从你们列祖出埃及地的那日，直到今日，我差遣我的仆人众先知到你们那里去，每日从早起来差遣他们。你们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟硬着颈项行恶，比你们列祖更甚。“你要将这一切的话告诉他们，他们却不听从；呼唤他们，他们却不答应。你要对他们说：‘这就是不听从耶和华他们神的话、不受教训的国民；从他们的口中，诚实灭绝了。’”

与那些转去不跟从耶和华的，和不寻求耶和华也不访问他的。”

这些人虽看见我的荣耀和我在埃及与旷野所行的神迹，仍然试探我这十次，不听从我的话，

按你们窥探那地的四十日，一年顶一日，你们要担当罪孽四十年，就知道我与你们疏远了，

本月初七日也要为误犯罪的和愚蒙犯罪的如此行，为殿赎罪。
