必猶林木、植於水濱、盤根河畔、不畏炎熱、其葉青葱、旱歲無虞、結實不息、

譬彼林木、植於溪旁、根延河畔、雖經炎熱、雖歷亢陽、不受其害、枝葉青蒼、結果不息。

必如樹木栽於水旁、根延河畔、不見炎熱、其葉青葱、乾旱之年、無所憂慮、結果不息、○

Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.”

But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.My eye also has seen my desire on my enemies; My ears hear my desire on the wicked Who rise up against me.The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God.They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

He grows green in the sun, And his branches spread out in his garden.

The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah concerning the droughts.“ Judah mourns, And her gates languish; They mourn for the land, And the cry of Jerusalem has gone up.Their nobles have sent their lads for water; They went to the cisterns and found no water. They returned with their vessels empty; They were ashamed and confounded And covered their heads.Because the ground is parched, For there was no rain in the land, The plowmen were ashamed; They covered their heads.Yes, the deer also gave birth in the field, But left because there was no grass.And the wild donkeys stood in the desolate heights; They sniffed at the wind like jackals; Their eyes failed because there was no grass.”
