必如焭獨人在曠野、不見福降、或作必如杜松生於曠野不見雨澤居於沙漠旱乾之處、無人居之滷地、

因他必像沙漠的杜松，不见福乐来到，却要住旷野干旱之处，无人居住的碱地。

That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.

They will be like a bush in a dry and empty land. They will not enjoy success when it comes. They will live in dry places in the desert. It is a land of salt where no one else lives.

He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.

They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land.

He will be like a juniper in the Arabah; he cannot see when good comes but dwells in the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land where no one lives.

For he will be like a bush in the desert, And will not see when prosperity comes, But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, A land of salt that is not inhabited.

硫磺與鹽、鹽或作硝焚燬徧地、不得耕種、不產物、不生草、如所多瑪、俄摩拉、押瑪、洗扁、主震怒時所傾覆者、

流蜜與乳之江河、必不得見、

我使曠野為其所處、使鹵地為其居所、

當遁逃、自救生命、當如曠野之焭獨人、焭獨人或作杜松

願彼如屋頂之草、未拔已枯、芟之者不能盈把、束之者不能滿懷、經過之人、亦不祝云、願主降福於爾、我儕倚賴主名、為爾祝福、

萬有之主以色列之天主曰、我指己永生而誓、摩押必若所多瑪、亞捫族必若俄摩拉、蒺藜叢生、斥鹵遍地、蒺藜叢生斥鹵遍地或作必成長蒺藜有鹽坑之地必恆荒蕪、我之遺民、必掠其貨財、得其地業、我之遺民必掠其貨財得其地業或作我子民之餘者必掠其貨財我百姓之餘者必得其地業

有一將、王倚其手者、謂神人曰、雖主使天啟口、亦不能有此事、神人曰、爾將目睹、惟不得食、○

萑葦非澤豈可生乎、蘆荻無水豈可長乎、當青而未刈之時、先百草而枯槁、忘天主者、景象亦若是、偽善者所望、亦若是歸於無有、

不得離幽暗、其枝蔓為火焰所焦、必滅亡於主口之吹噓、原不應倚恃虛妄、既迷惑、必受禍以為報、時日未屆、此事必驗、其枝不茂、必若葡萄果未熟先落、又若油果樹花開即謝、偽善或作作惡之輩、必零落無後、貪賄者之室、必被火焚、

是日、亞比米勒終日攻邑、取之、殺其居民、毀其城垣、布之以鹽、

爾必似葉枯之橡樹、無水之園囿、

其將對神人曰、雖主使天啟口、亦不能有此事、神人曰、爾將目睹、惟不得食、此事果臨及斯人、蓋民踐之於城門中、乃死、

惟其濱下、淤泥諸澤、仍鹵不變、仍鹵不變或作水不變甘留為出鹽之所、

維彼惡人、決不如此、乃如糠秕、隨風吹散、

惡人興盛似草、為非者發旺如花、終必永滅、
