他必像沙漠中的灌木，福樂來到，他也必看不見，卻要住在曠野乾旱之地、無人居住的鹹地。

因他必像沙漠的杜松，不见福乐来到，却要住旷野干旱之处，无人居住的碱地。

他必像沙漠里的矮树，不见福乐来到；他要住在旷野干旱之处，无人居住的盐地。

这样的人毫无福乐，像沙漠中的灌木。他要住在旷野中干旱无人的盐碱地。

因他必像沙漠的杜松，不見福樂來到，卻要住曠野乾旱之處，無人居住的鹼地。

他必像沙漠裏的矮樹，不見福樂來到；他要住在曠野乾旱之處，無人居住的鹽地。

這樣的人毫無福樂，像沙漠中的灌木。他要住在曠野中乾旱無人的鹽鹼地。

他正像原野上的杜松，福樂來到，他也看不見，他卻要住在曠野焦乾之處，無人居住之鹹地。

蓋彼必如沙漠之杜松、不沾膏澤、居於曠野乾燥之地、斥鹵之區、無人之處、

譬彼杜松、生於曠野、其地斥鹵、其壤燥烈、人蹤罕至、不沾膏澤。

必如焭獨人在曠野、不見福降、或作必如杜松生於曠野不見雨澤居於沙漠旱乾之處、無人居之滷地、

That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.

They will be like a bush in a dry and empty land. They will not enjoy success when it comes. They will live in dry places in the desert. It is a land of salt where no one else lives.

He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.

They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land.

He will be like a juniper in the Arabah; he cannot see when good comes but dwells in the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land where no one lives.

For he will be like a bush in the desert, And will not see when prosperity comes, But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, A land of salt that is not inhabited.

For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited.

又看見了遍地有硫磺，有鹽鹵，有火燒，沒有播種，沒有出產，寸草不生，好像耶和華在烈怒和怒火中毀滅的所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁一樣，

他必不得看見江河，就是流蜜與奶的江河。

我使原野作牠的家，使鹹地作牠的居所。

你們要逃跑，趕快逃命吧！你們好像曠野的灌木。

願他們像屋頂上的草，尚未長大，就枯乾了；收割的不夠一把，捆禾的不夠滿懷。過路的人也不說：“願耶和華所賜的福臨到你們；我們奉耶和華的名祝福你們。”

因此，萬軍之耶和華以色列的神說：“我指著我的永生起誓：摩押人必要像所多瑪，亞捫人必定像蛾摩拉，成為刺草和鹽坑之所，永遠荒涼之地。我餘下的子民必擄掠他們，我國中所餘的要得著他們為業。”

但那攙扶王的官長回答神人，說：“即使耶和華在天上開了窗戶，也不會有這事發生。”以利沙說：“看哪，你要親眼看見，卻吃不著。”

蒲草沒有泥，怎能生長？蘆葦沒有水，怎能長大呢？尚青還沒有割下來的時候，就比百草先枯槁。忘記神的，他們的末路也是這樣；不敬虔的人，他的指望必成泡影。

他不能離開黑暗，火燄必燒乾他的嫩枝，他必因神口中的氣而離去。他不信靠虛假，自己欺騙自己，因為虛假必成為他的報應。他的日期未到以先，這事必成全，他的枝子，也不青綠。他必像葡萄樹未熟的葡萄掉落一樣，又如橄欖樹的花朵一開就謝一般。因為不敬虔的人必不能生育，火必吞滅收受賄賂者的帳幕。

那一天，亞比米勒整天攻打那城，把城攻下了，殺了城中的眾人；把城拆毀，又撒上鹽。

因為你們必像一棵葉子凋落的橡樹，又如一個缺水的園子。

那官長回答神人，說：“即使耶和華在天上開了窗戶，也不會有這事發生。”神人說：“看哪，你要親眼看見，卻吃不著。”這事果然發生在他身上：眾民把他踐踏在地，他就死了。

只有沼澤和窪地的水不能變淡，留作產鹽之用。

惡人卻不是這樣，他們好像糠秕，被風吹散。

惡人雖好像草一樣繁茂，所有作孽的人雖然興旺，他們都要永遠滅亡。
