耶和华如此说：“倚靠人，以血肉为膀臂，心中离弃耶和华的，那人该受诅咒！

耶和华说：“信靠世人、倚靠血肉之躯、背叛耶和华的人该受咒诅！

耶和华这样说：“倚靠世人，恃凭肉体为自己的力量，心里偏离耶和华的，这人该受咒诅。

耶和華如此說：「倚靠人，以血肉為膀臂，心中離棄耶和華的，那人該受詛咒！

耶和華說：「信靠世人、倚靠血肉之軀、背叛耶和華的人該受咒詛！

耶和華這樣說：“倚靠世人，恃憑肉體為自己的力量，心裡偏離耶和華的，這人該受咒詛。

永恆主這麼說：『那倚靠世人、以人的血肉為自己的膀臂、其心卻轉離永恆主的、那種人該受咒詛。

耶和華曰、凡賴世人、恃血肉之臂、而心離耶和華者、其人見詛、

耶和華曰、人背逆予、求人助己、惟人力是恃、禍必不遠。

主如是云、凡人心棄我、我原文作主倚恃人、倚恃肉體者、倚恃肉體者原文作以肉體為其臂者斯人有禍、

This is what the Lord says:“ Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.

The Lord says,“ Those who trust in human beings are under my curse. They depend on human strength. Their hearts turn away from me.

Thus says the Lord:“ Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord.

This is what the Lord says:“ Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord.

This is what the LORD says: Cursed is the person who trusts in mankind. He makes human flesh his strength, and his heart turns from the LORD.

This is what the Lord says:“ Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the Lord.

Thus says the Lord:“ Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.

Thus saith Jehovah: Cursed is the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from Jehovah.

This is what the Lord says: The man who trusts in mankind, who makes human flesh his strength and turns his heart from the Lord is cursed.

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed[ be] the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

The LORD says,“ I will put a curse on people who trust in mere human beings, who depend on mere flesh and blood for their strength, and whose hearts have turned away from the LORD.

Yahweh says:“ Cursed is the man who trusts in man, relies on strength of flesh, and whose heart departs from Yahweh.

投靠耶和華，強似倚賴人；投靠耶和華，強似倚賴王子。

你們不要倚靠君王，不要倚靠世人；他一點不能幫助。他的氣一斷，就歸回塵土；他所打算的，當日就消滅了。

你們休要倚靠世人。他鼻孔裏不過有氣息；他在一切事上可算甚麼呢？

禍哉！那些下埃及求幫助的，是因仗賴馬匹，倚靠甚多的車輛，並倚靠強壯的馬兵，卻不仰望以色列的聖者，也不求問耶和華。其實，耶和華有智慧；他必降災禍，並不反悔自己的話，卻要興起攻擊那作惡之家，又攻擊那作孽幫助人的。埃及人不過是人，並不是神；他們的馬不過是血肉，並不是靈。耶和華一伸手，那幫助人的必絆跌，那受幫助的也必跌倒，都一同滅亡。耶和華對我如此說：獅子和少壯獅子護食咆哮，就是喊許多牧人來攻擊牠，牠總不因他們的聲音驚惶，也不因他們的喧嘩縮伏。如此，萬軍之耶和華也必降臨在錫安山岡上爭戰。雀鳥怎樣搧翅覆雛，萬軍之耶和華也要照樣保護耶路撒冷。他必保護拯救，要越門保守。以色列人哪，你們深深地悖逆耶和華，現今要歸向他。到那日，各人必將他金偶像銀偶像，就是親手所造、陷自己在罪中的，都拋棄了。亞述人必倒在刀下，並非人的刀；有刀要將他吞滅，並非人的刀。他必逃避這刀；他的少年人必成為服苦的。他的磐石必因驚嚇挪去；他的首領必因大旗驚惶。這是那有火在錫安、有爐在耶路撒冷的耶和華說的。

耶和華說：禍哉！這悖逆的兒女。他們同謀，卻不由於我，結盟，卻不由於我的靈，以致罪上加罪；起身下埃及去，並沒有求問我；要靠法老的力量加添自己的力量，並投在埃及的蔭下。所以，法老的力量必作你們的羞辱；投在埃及的蔭下，要為你們的慚愧。他們的首領已在瑣安；他們的使臣到了哈內斯。他們必因那不利於他們的民蒙羞。那民並非幫助，也非利益，只作羞恥凌辱。論南方牲畜的默示：他們把財物馱在驢駒的脊背上，將寶物馱在駱駝的肉鞍上，經過艱難困苦之地，就是公獅、母獅、蝮蛇、火焰的飛龍之地，往那不利於他們的民那裏去。埃及的幫助是徒然無益的；所以我稱她為「坐而不動的拉哈伯」。

與他們同在的是肉臂，與我們同在的是耶和華－我們的神，他必幫助我們，為我們爭戰。」百姓就靠猶大王希西家的話，安然無懼了。

看哪，你所倚靠的埃及是那壓傷的葦杖，人若靠這杖，就必刺透他的手。埃及王法老向一切倚靠他的人也是這樣。

下流人真是虛空；上流人也是虛假；放在天平裏就必浮起；他們一共比空氣還輕。

那脫離刀劍的人必在所擄到的各國中記念我，為他們心中何等傷破，是因他們起淫心，遠離我，眼對偶像行邪淫。他們因行一切可憎的惡事，必厭惡自己。

因為我遵守了耶和華的道，未曾作惡離開我的神。

「埃及一切的居民，因向以色列家成了蘆葦的杖，就知道我是耶和華。他們用手持住你，你就斷折，傷了他們的肩；他們倚靠你，你就斷折，閃了他們的腰。

耶和華初次與何西阿說話，對他說：「你去娶淫婦為妻，也收那從淫亂所生的兒女；因為這地大行淫亂，離棄耶和華。」

誠實少見；離惡的人反成掠物。那時，耶和華看見沒有公平，甚不喜悅。
