因为在我的怒中有火燃烧起来，烧到阴间的深处，把大地和地的出产尽都吞灭，连山的根基也烧着了。

因为他们背弃了我，向别的神焚香。他们所行的一切都使我发怒，因此我的怒火要在这地方燃点，不会熄灭。

大卫家啊！耶和华这样说：你们每早晨应秉公审判，解救被抢夺的脱离欺压者的手；免得我的烈怒因你们（“你们”有古抄本作“他们”）的恶行发作，如火焚烧，无人能熄灭。

攻打这城的迦勒底人必进来，放火烧城，城中的房屋都必烧光，因为这城的居民曾在那些房屋的屋顶上向巴力烧香，向别神浇奠祭，惹我发怒。

我必降火在推罗的城墙，烧毁他的堡垒。’

耶和华宣告说：“但如果你们真心听从我，不在安息日挑担子进入这城的城门，并且守安息日为圣日，在那日不作任何工作；

他们也要用火烧你的房屋，在许多妇人面前向你施行审判。我必止住你的淫行，也必使你不再把诱人行淫的礼物送给人。
