Then people will come from the cities of Judah and from the area around Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin and from the Judean foothills, from the hill country and from the Negev bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices, grain offerings and frankincense, and thanksgiving sacrifices to the house of the LORD.

People will come from the towns of Judah and the villages around Jerusalem, from the territory of Benjamin and the western foothills, from the hill country and the Negev, bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices, grain offerings and incense, and bringing thank offerings to the house of the Lord.

Some will come from the towns of Judah. And some will come in from the villages around Jerusalem. Others will come from the territory of Benjamin. And others will come in from the western hills. Still others will come from the central hill country and the Negev Desert. All of them will bring burnt offerings and sacrifices. They will come bringing grain offerings, incense and thank offerings. They will take all these offerings to my house.

And people shall come from the cities of Judah and the places around Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin, from the Shephelah, from the hill country, and from the Negeb, bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices, grain offerings and frankincense, and bringing thank offerings to the house of the Lord.

And from all around Jerusalem, from the towns of Judah and Benjamin, from the western foothills and the hill country and the Negev, the people will come with their burnt offerings and sacrifices. They will bring their grain offerings, frankincense, and thanksgiving offerings to the Lord’s Temple.

They will come in from the cities of Judah and from the areas surrounding Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin, from the lowland, from the hill country, and from the Negev, bringing burnt offerings, sacrifices, grain offerings, and frankincense, and bringing sacrifices of thanksgiving to the house of the Lord.

And they shall come from the cities of Judah and from the places around Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin and from the lowland, from the mountains and from the South, bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices, grain offerings and incense, bringing sacrifices of praise to the house of the Lord.

And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places round about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the lowland, and from the hill- country, and from the South, bringing burnt- offerings, and sacrifices, and meal- offerings, and frankincense, and bringing sacrifices of thanksgiving, unto the house of Jehovah.

Then people will come from the cities of Judah and from the area around Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin and from the Judean foothills, from the hill country and from the Negev bringing burnt offerings and sacrifice, grain offerings and frankincense, and thank offerings to the house of the Lord.

And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.

Then people will come here from the towns in Judah, from the villages surrounding Jerusalem, from the territory of Benjamin, from the western foothills, from the southern hill country, and from the southern part of Judah. They will come bringing offerings to the temple of the LORD: burnt offerings, sacrifices, grain offerings, and incense along with their thank offerings.

They will come from the cities of Judah, and from the places around Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin, from the lowland, from the hill country, and from the South, bringing burnt offerings, sacrifices, meal offerings, and frankincense, and bringing sacrifices of thanksgiving, to Yahweh’s house.

The flocks will again pass under the hands of the one who counts them in the cities of the hill country, the cities of the Judean foothills, the cities of the Negev, the land of Benjamin— the areas around Jerusalem and in Judah’s cities, says the LORD.

Aren’t these the words that the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets when Jerusalem was inhabited and secure, along with its surrounding cities, and when the southern region and the Judean foothills were inhabited?”

Fields will be purchased, the transaction written on a scroll and sealed, and witnesses will be called on in the land of Benjamin, in the areas surrounding Jerusalem, and in Judah’s cities— the cities of the hill country, the cities of the Judean foothills, and the cities of the Negev— because I will restore their fortunes.” This is the LORD’s declaration.

Let them offer thanksgiving sacrifices and announce his works with shouts of joy.

I will offer you a thanksgiving sacrifice and call on the name of the LORD.

a sound of joy and gladness, the voice of the groom and the bride, and the voice of those saying, Give thanks to the LORD of Armies, for the LORD is good; his faithful love endures forever as they bring thanksgiving sacrifices to the temple of the LORD. For I will restore the fortunes of the land as in former times, says the LORD.

Then the LORD summoned Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting:“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any of you brings an offering to the LORD from the livestock, you may bring your offering from the herd or the flock.“ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to bring an unblemished male. He will bring it to the entrance to the tent of meeting so that he may be accepted by the LORD.He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering so it can be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.He is to slaughter the bull before the LORD; Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and splatter it on all sides of the altar that is at the entrance to the tent of meeting.Then he is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.The sons of Aaron the priest will prepare a fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.

These were the outermost cities of the tribe of the descendants of Judah toward the border of Edom in the Negev: Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah,Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan,Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,Hazor-hadattah, Kerioth-hezron( that is, Hazor),Amam, Shema, Moladah,Hazar-gaddah, Heshmon, Beth-pelet,Hazar-shual, Beer-sheba, Biziothiah,Baalah, Iim, Ezem,Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah,Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon— twenty-nine cities in all, with their settlements.In the Judean foothills: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,Zanoah, En-gannim, Tappuah, Enam,Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,Shaaraim, Adithaim, Gederah, and Gederothaim— fourteen cities, with their settlements;Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal-gad,Dilan, Mizpeh, Jokthe-el,Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,Cabbon, Lahmam, Chitlish,Gederoth, Beth-dagon, Naamah, and Makkedah— sixteen cities, with their settlements;Libnah, Ether, Ashan,Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah— nine cities, with their settlements;Ekron, with its surrounding villages and settlements;from Ekron to the sea, all the cities near Ashdod, with their settlements;Ashdod, with its surrounding villages and settlements; Gaza, with its surrounding villages and settlements, to the Brook of Egypt and the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.In the hill country: Shamir, Jattir, Socoh,Dannah, Kiriath-sannah( that is, Debir),Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim,Goshen, Holon, and Giloh— eleven cities, with their settlements;Arab, Dumah, Eshan,Janim, Beth-tappuah, Aphekah,Humtah, Kiriath-arba( that is, Hebron), and Zior— nine cities, with their settlements;Maon, Carmel, Ziph, Juttah,Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah,Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah— ten cities, with their settlements;Halhul, Beth-zur, Gedor,Maarath, Beth-anoth, and Eltekon— six cities, with their settlements;Kiriath-baal( that is, Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah— two cities, with their settlements.In the wilderness: Beth-arabah, Middin, Secacah,Nibshan, the City of Salt, and En-gedi— six cities, with their settlements.But the descendants of Judah could not drive out the Jebusites who lived in Jerusalem. So the Jebusites still live in Jerusalem among the descendants of Judah today.

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has set us free from our sins by his blood,

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Therefore, through him let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.

They sang with praise and thanksgiving to the LORD:“ For he is good; his faithful love to Israel endures forever.” Then all the people gave a great shout of praise to the LORD because the foundation of the LORD’s house had been laid.

you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

They set up the altar on its foundation and offered burnt offerings for the morning and evening on it to the LORD even though they feared the surrounding peoples.They celebrated the Festival of Shelters as prescribed, and offered burnt offerings each day, based on the number specified by ordinance for each festival day.After that, they offered the regular burnt offering and the offerings for the beginning of each month and for all the LORD’s appointed holy occasions, as well as the freewill offerings brought to the LORD.On the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to the LORD, even though the foundation of the LORD’s temple had not yet been laid.
