then kings who sit on David’s throne will come through the gates of this city with their officials. They and their officials will come riding in chariots and on horses, accompanied by the men of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, and this city will be inhabited forever.

如果你們切實地行這些事，就必有坐大衛王位的列王，乘著車，騎著馬，與自己的臣僕和人民進入這王宮的各門。

這一日必作你們的記念日；你們要守這日為耶和華的節；你們要世世代代守這節日作永遠的定例。

你就要對他們說：‘耶和華這樣說：看哪！我要使這地所有的居民，就是那些坐大衛王位的君王，以及祭司、先知和耶路撒冷所有的居民，都完全醉倒。

至於你，如果你像你父親大衛那樣，存誠實和正直的心在我面前行事為人，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例和典章，我就必堅固你統治以色列的國位，直到永遠，正如我應許你父親大衛說：‘你的子孫，總不斷有人坐以色列的王位。

耶和華實實在在向大衛起了誓，他必不會收回，他說：“我要從你的後裔中，立一位坐在你的王位上。如果你的子孫謹守我的約，和我教訓他們的法度，他們的子孫也必永遠坐在你的王位上。”因為耶和華揀選了錫安，定意把它當作自己的居所。他說：“這是我永遠安息的居所；我要住在這裡，因為我定意這樣作。

說：“那要統治你們的王將這樣治理你們：他必徵用你們的兒子，派他們作他的戰車兵、騎兵、在車前奔走的前鋒，

我要使他的後裔存到永遠，使他的王位好像天一樣長久。如果他的子孫離棄我的律法，不照著我的典章而行；如果他們違背我的律例，不遵守我的誡命，我就用杖責罰他們的過犯，用鞭責罰他們的罪孽。但我必不把我的慈愛從他身上收回，也必不背棄我的信實。我必不違背我的約，也不改變我口中所出的話。我斷然指著自己的聖潔起誓，說：‘我決不向大衛說謊。他的後裔必存到永遠，他的王位在我面前必像太陽長存，又像月亮永遠堅立，作天上確實的見證。’”（細拉）

只是君王不可為自己加添馬匹，也不可使人民回埃及去，為要加添馬匹，因為耶和華曾經對你們說過：‘你們不可再回到那條路去。’

他將要被尊為大，稱為至高者的兒子，主神要把他祖大衛的王位賜給他，他要作王統治雅各家，直到永遠，他的國沒有窮盡。”

耶和華這樣說：“你們要寫下，這人算為無子，他的一生毫無成就；因為他的後裔中沒有一人可以成功，能坐在大衛的王位上，再次統治猶大。”
