Yahweh says,“ Be careful, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem.

耶和华如此说：你们要谨慎，不要在安息日担什么担子进入耶路撒冷的各门；

永恆主這麼說：為了自己性命的緣故、你們要謹慎，不可在安息之日挑甚麼擔子，或帶進耶路撒冷的各門。

耶和華曰、爾其慎旃、於安息日、毋荷擔以入耶路撒冷門、

耶和華曰、爾當謹恪、安息日勿負荷入耶路撒冷邑門。

主如是云、爾當謹恪、安息日勿負荷入耶路撒冷邑門、

This is what the Lord says: Be careful not to carry a load on the Sabbath day or bring it through the gates of Jerusalem.

The Lord says,“ Make sure you do not carry a load on the Sabbath day. Do not bring it through the gates of Jerusalem.

Thus says the Lord: Take care for the sake of your lives, and do not bear a burden on the Sabbath day or bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem.

This is what the Lord says: Listen to my warning! Stop carrying on your trade at Jerusalem’s gates on the Sabbath day.

This is what the LORD says: Watch yourselves; do not pick up a load and bring it in through Jerusalem’s gates on the Sabbath day.

This is what the Lord says:“ Take care for yourselves, and do not carry any load on the Sabbath day or bring anything in through the gates of Jerusalem.

Thus says the Lord:“ Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;

This is what the Lord says: Watch yourselves; do not pick up a load and bring it in through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day.

The LORD says,‘ Be very careful if you value your lives! Do not carry any loads in through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day.

While the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.Those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.They put him in custody, because it had not been declared what should be done to him.Yahweh said to Moses,“ The man shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp.”All the congregation brought him outside of the camp, and stoned him to death with stones, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

In those days I saw some men treading wine presses on the Sabbath in Judah, bringing in sheaves, and loading donkeys; also with wine, grapes, figs, and all kinds of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day; and I testified against them in the day in which they sold food.Some men of Tyre also lived there, who brought in fish and all kinds of wares, and sold on the Sabbath to the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said to them,“ What evil thing is this that you do, and profane the Sabbath day?Didn’t your fathers do this, and didn’t our God bring all this evil on us, and on this city? Yet you bring more wrath on Israel by profaning the Sabbath.”It came to pass that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the Sabbath, I commanded that the doors should be shut, and commanded that they should not be opened until after the Sabbath. I set some of my servants over the gates, so that no burden should be brought in on the Sabbath day.So the merchants and sellers of all kinds of wares camped outside of Jerusalem once or twice.Then I testified against them, and said to them,“ Why do you stay around the wall? If you do so again, I will lay hands on you.” From that time on, they didn’t come on the Sabbath.

He said to them,“ Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you, and more will be given to you who hear.

Only be careful, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children’s children—

Be careful, lest you forget the covenant of Yahweh your God, which he made with you, and make yourselves a carved image in the form of anything which Yahweh your God has forbidden you.

Be very careful, for you saw no kind of form on the day that Yahweh spoke to you in Horeb out of the middle of the fire,

Immediately, the man was made well, and took up his mat and walked. Now it was the Sabbath on that day.So the Jews said to him who was cured,“ It is the Sabbath. It is not lawful for you to carry the mat.”He answered them,“ He who made me well said to me,‘ Take up your mat and walk.’”Then they asked him,“ Who is the man who said to you,‘ Take up your mat and walk’?”

Don’t carry a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day. Don’t do any work, but make the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your fathers.But they didn’t listen. They didn’t turn their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, and might not receive instruction.It will happen, if you diligently listen to me,” says Yahweh,“ to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but to make the Sabbath day holy, to do no work therein;then there will enter in by the gates of this city kings and princes sitting on David’s throne, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and this city will remain forever.They will come from the cities of Judah, and from the places around Jerusalem, from the land of Benjamin, from the lowland, from the hill country, and from the South, bringing burnt offerings, sacrifices, meal offerings, and frankincense, and bringing sacrifices of thanksgiving, to Yahweh’s house.But if you will not listen to me to make the Sabbath day holy, and not to bear a burden and enter in at the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle a fire in its gates, and it will devour the palaces of Jerusalem. It will not be quenched.”’”

Take good heed therefore to yourselves, that you love Yahweh your God.

Be careful therefore how you hear. For whoever has, to him will be given; and whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he thinks he has.”

looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it,lest there be any sexually immoral person, or profane person, like Esau, who sold his birthright for one meal.

Be careful, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn away to serve other gods and worship them;

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.

Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, lest perhaps we drift away.For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty,how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation— which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard,

Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood.
