The LORD told me,“ Go and stand in the People’s Gate through which the kings of Judah enter and leave the city. Then go and stand in all the other gates of the city of Jerusalem.

耶和华对我如此说：“你去站在平民的门口，就是犹大君王出入的门，又站在耶路撒冷的各门口，

永恆主對我這樣說：『你去站在便雅憫門，就是猶大列王出入的門，又站在耶路撒冷的各門口，

耶和華諭我曰、宜往立於庶民之門、即猶大列王出入之門、又立於耶路撒冷諸門、

耶和華諭我曰、爾當立於耶路撒冷門、猶大王、與庶民出入之所、

主如是諭我曰、爾往立於民之門、即猶大君王所由出入之門、亦徧立於耶路撒冷之各門、

This is what the Lord said to me:“ Go and stand at the Gate of the People, through which the kings of Judah go in and out; stand also at all the other gates of Jerusalem.

The Lord said to me,“ Go. Stand at the city gate called the Gate of the People. That is where the kings of Judah go in and out. Then stand at all the other gates of Jerusalem.

Thus said the Lord to me:“ Go and stand in the People’s Gate, by which the kings of Judah enter and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem,

This is what the Lord said to me:“ Go and stand in the gates of Jerusalem, first in the gate where the king goes in and out, and then in each of the other gates.

This is what the LORD said to me,“ Go and stand at the People’s Gate, through which the kings of Judah enter and leave, as well as at all the gates of Jerusalem.

This is what the Lord said to me:“ Go and stand at the public gate, through which the kings of Judah come in and go out, as well as at all the gates of Jerusalem;

Thus the Lord said to me:“ Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, by which the kings of Judah come in and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;

Thus said Jehovah unto me: Go, and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;

This is what the Lord said to me,“ Go and stand at the People’s Gate, through which the kings of Judah enter and leave, as well as at all the gates of Jerusalem.

Thus said the LORD unto me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by the which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;

Yahweh said this to me:“ Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, through which the kings of Judah come in and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem.

The LORD said,“ Go stand in the courtyard of the LORD’s temple. Speak out to all the people who are coming from the towns of Judah to worship in the LORD’s temple. Tell them everything I command you to tell them. Do not leave out a single word!

“ Stand in the gate of the LORD’s temple and proclaim this message:‘ Listen, all you people of Judah who have passed through these gates to worship the LORD. Hear what the LORD has to say.

So you go there the next time all the people of Judah come in from their towns to fast in the LORD’s temple. Read out loud where all of them can hear you what I told you the LORD said, which you wrote in the scroll.

“ Go and stand in the temple courts and proclaim to the people all the words of this life.”

She has sent out her female servants; she calls out on the highest places of the city.

At that time Baruch went into the temple of the LORD. He stood in the entrance of the room of Gemariah the son of Shaphan who had been the royal secretary. That room was in the upper court near the entrance of the New Gate. There, where all the people could hear him, he read from the scroll what Jeremiah had said.

Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice?

Go out to the part of the Hinnom Valley which is near the entrance of the Potsherd Gate. Announce there what I tell you.

Wisdom calls out in the street, she shouts loudly in the plazas;at the head of the noisy streets she calls, in the entrances of the gates in the city she utters her words:“ How long will you simpletons love naiveté? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?
