“ For this is what the LORD says: Don’t enter a house where a mourning feast is taking place. Don’t go to lament or sympathize with them, for I have removed my peace from these people as well as my faithful love and compassion.” This is the LORD’s declaration.

耶和华如此说：“不要进入丧家，不要去哀哭，也不要为他们悲伤，因我已将我的平安、慈爱、怜悯从这百姓夺去了。这是耶和华说的。

耶和華曰、勿入喪室、勿往弔、勿為之哀哭、蓋我於斯民、奪我平康、收我仁慈矜憫、耶和華言之矣、

耶和華又曰、我不矜恤斯民、不使平康、故勿入室哭之、亦勿往弔、

主如是云、必入喪家、勿往哀哭弔唁、我不使斯民復享平康、不復施恩惠、發憐憫、此乃主所言、

For this is what the Lord says:“ Do not enter a house where there is a funeral meal; do not go to mourn or show sympathy, because I have withdrawn my blessing, my love and my pity from this people,” declares the Lord.

The Lord says,“ Jeremiah, suppose a meal is being served because someone has died. Do not enter any house where that is happening. Do not go there to mourn or to comfort the family. I will not bless these people anymore. I have taken my love and pity away from them,” announces the Lord.

“ For thus says the Lord: Do not enter the house of mourning, or go to lament or grieve for them, for I have taken away my peace from this people, my steadfast love and mercy, declares the Lord.

This is what the Lord says:“ Do not go to funerals to mourn and show sympathy for these people, for I have removed my protection and peace from them. I have taken away my unfailing love and my mercy.

For this is what the Lord says:“ Do not enter a house of mourning, or go to mourn or to console them; for I have withdrawn My peace from this people,” declares the Lord,“ and My favor and compassion.

For thus says the Lord:“ Do not enter the house of mourning, nor go to lament or bemoan them; for I have taken away My peace from this people,” says the Lord,“ lovingkindness and mercies.

For thus saith Jehovah, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament, neither bemoan them; for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith Jehovah, even lovingkindness and tender mercies.

“ For this is what the Lord says: Don’t enter a house where a mourning feast is taking place. Don’t go to lament or sympathize with them, for I have removed My peace from these people”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ as well as My faithful love and compassion.

For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the LORD,[ even] lovingkindness and mercies.

“ Moreover I, the LORD, tell you:‘ Do not go into a house where they are having a funeral meal. Do not go there to mourn and express your sorrow for them. For I have stopped showing them my good favor, my love, and my compassion. I, the LORD, so affirm it!

For Yahweh says,“ Don’t enter into the house of mourning. Don’t go to lament. Don’t bemoan them, for I have taken away my peace from this people,” says Yahweh,“ even loving kindness and tender mercies.

“ Son of man, I am about to take the delight of your eyes away from you with a fatal blow. But you must not lament or weep or let your tears flow.Groan quietly; do not observe mourning rites for the dead. Put on your turban and strap your sandals on your feet; do not cover your mustache or eat the bread of mourners.”I spoke to the people in the morning, and my wife died in the evening. The next morning I did just as I was commanded.Then the people asked me,“ Won’t you tell us what these things you are doing mean for us?”So I answered them,“ The word of the LORD came to me:Say to the house of Israel,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: I am about to desecrate my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the delight of your eyes, and the desire of your heart. Also, the sons and daughters you left behind will fall by the sword.Then you will do just as I have done: You will not cover your mustache or eat the bread of mourners.Your turbans will remain on your heads and your sandals on your feet. You will not lament or weep but will waste away because of your iniquities and will groan to one another.

When its branches dry out, they will be broken off. Women will come and make fires with them, for they are not a people with understanding. Therefore their Maker will not have compassion on them, and their Creator will not be gracious to them.

Then the LORD said to me,“ Even if Moses and Samuel should stand before me, my compassions would not reach out to these people. Send them from my presence, and let them go.If they ask you,‘ Where will we go?’ tell them: This is what the LORD says: Those destined for death, to death; those destined for the sword, to the sword. Those destined for famine, to famine; those destined for captivity, to captivity.“ I will ordain four kinds of judgment for them”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ the sword to kill, the dogs to drag away, and the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the land to devour and destroy.I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth because of Manasseh son of Hezekiah, the king of Judah, for what he did in Jerusalem.

My anger will burn against them on that day; I will abandon them and hide my face from them so that they will become easy prey. Many troubles and afflictions will come to them. On that day they will say,‘ Haven’t these troubles come to us because our God is no longer with us?’

For prior to those days neither people nor animals had wages. There was no safety from the enemy for anyone who came or went, for I turned everyone against his neighbor.

Then another horse went out, a fiery red one, and its rider was allowed to take peace from the earth, so that people would slaughter one another. And a large sword was given to him.

“ Both great and small will die in this land without burial. No lament will be made for them, nor will anyone cut himself or shave his head for them.Food won’t be provided for the mourner to comfort him because of the dead. A consoling drink won’t be given him for the loss of his father or mother.

In those times there was no peace for those who went about their daily activities because the residents of the lands had many conflicts.Nation was crushed by nation and city by city, for God troubled them with every possible distress.
