「我要使人們災難臨頭，以致他們行路像瞎子，因為他們得罪了我。他們的血必被倒出，如同灰塵；他們的屍體必被丟棄，如同糞便。

如果他們問你，『我們該去哪裡，』你就告訴他們，耶和華這樣說，『該死的死，該被殺的被殺，該遭饑荒的遭饑荒，該被擄的被擄。』「我要讓他們遭受四種禍患——刀殺、狗撕、鳥啄、獸吞。這是耶和華說的。

我要把他們交在想殺他們的敵人手中，他們的屍體要成為飛禽走獸的食物。

飛鳥和走獸必吃這百姓的屍體，無人驅趕牠們。

因此，論到猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬，耶和華說：「沒有人會為他哀悼說，『唉，我的弟兄啊！唉，我的姊妹啊！』沒有人會為他哀悼說，『唉，主人啊！唉，他的尊榮！』你必像死驢一樣被拖到耶路撒冷的城門外，曝屍荒野。」

他們的屍首成了山間鷙鳥和田野走獸的食物，夏天被鷙鳥啄食，冬天被走獸吞噬。

他們把你僕人的屍體餵飛鳥，把你忠心子民的屍體給野獸吃，使耶路撒冷周圍血流成河，屍體無人埋葬。

所以耶和華說，猶大王約雅敬啊，你的子孫沒有一人能登大衛的寶座，你的屍體必被棄之荒野，遭受烈日的暴曬和夜霜的侵襲。

耶洗別的屍體必在耶斯列的田間被狗吃，無人埋葬。』」說完這話，那位年輕的先知便開門逃跑了。

我又看見一位天使站在太陽裡，對空中飛翔的鳥大聲呼喚：「來吧！一起來參加上帝的盛宴，一同享用君王、將軍、勇士、馬匹、騎士、自由人、奴隸和尊卑老少的肉吧！」

祭司喪身刀下，寡婦無法哭喪。

你們三分之一的人要死於饑荒瘟疫，三分之一的人要死於刀下，我必把其餘的三分之一分散到各地各方，並拔刀追殺他們。

耶和華說：「那時，猶大王、首領、祭司、先知及耶路撒冷居民的骸骨都要從墳墓中被挖出來，拋散在他們昔日戀慕、供奉、追隨、求問、祭拜的日月星辰之下，無人收殮和埋葬，他們好像地上的糞便。我要把這邪惡民族的餘民流放異地，他們在那裡必痛不欲生。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

便回去稟告耶戶。耶戶說：「這正應驗耶和華藉祂僕人提斯比人以利亞說的話，『狗必在耶斯列的田間吃耶洗別的肉，耶洗別的屍體必像耶斯列田間的糞便，無人能認出那是耶洗別。』」

耶和華向祂的子民發怒，伸手擊打他們。山嶺震動，他們橫屍街頭，猶如糞土。然而，祂的怒氣還沒有止息，祂降罰的手沒有收回。

看啊，我一定要給你們降下災禍而非祝福，使所有住在埃及的猶大人死於戰爭和饑荒。

耶和華對我說：「你不要進入喪家為他們哀悼悲傷，因為我已收回我賜給這百姓的平安、慈愛和憐憫。這是耶和華說的。他們無論尊卑都要死在這裡，無人埋葬，無人哀悼，也無人為他們的死而割傷身體、剃光頭髮。無人用食物和酒安慰哀悼者，甚至無人給喪父或喪母者一杯安慰酒。

「人子啊，主耶和華說，『你要召喚各類飛鳥和野獸，讓牠們聚集起來，從四面八方來赴我為牠們預備的祭宴，就是以色列山嶺上的大祭宴，在那裡吃肉飲血。牠們將吃到勇士的肉，喝到君王的血，好像吃公綿羊、羊羔、公山羊、公牛這些巴珊的肥畜。牠們要在我為牠們設的祭宴中任意吃肉飲血，直到吃飽喝醉為止。牠們在我的宴席上要飽餐戰馬、車夫、勇士和軍人的肉。這是主耶和華說的。

所以，我要降禍給耶羅波安家，從以色列剷除耶羅波安家所有的男子，不論是奴隸還是自由人。我要像清除糞便一樣，把耶羅波安家焚燒淨盡。耶羅波安家人中，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在田野的必被鳥吃。這是耶和華說的。』

那時，如果一棟房子裡剩下十人，這十人也要死亡。親屬抬出屍體焚燒時，必問內屋的人：「你那裡還有別人嗎？」那人必回答：「沒有。」問的人必說：「不要作聲，我們不可提耶和華的名。」

至於耶洗別，耶和華說，『狗必在耶斯列的城牆邊吃耶洗別的肉。凡屬亞哈的人，死在城中的必被狗吃，死在郊野的必被飛鳥吃。』」

因此耶和華說，既然你們不聽我的話，不給自己的同胞自由，看啊，我必使你們自由地死在戰爭、瘟疫和饑荒中，使你們的遭遇令天下萬國驚懼。這是耶和華說的。

我要毀滅那些執意去埃及住的猶大餘民。他們必死於戰爭和饑荒，無論尊卑無一倖免。他們的下場將很可怕，成了被人責罵、咒詛和羞辱的對象。

我沒有差派他們，他們卻奉我的名說這地方必沒有戰爭和饑荒。他們必死於戰爭和饑荒。這是耶和華說的。至於聽他們說預言的人以及那些人的妻子兒女，必因饑荒和戰爭而曝屍耶路撒冷街頭。因為我要使他們受到應得的報應。
