“ But the time is coming,” says the Lord,“ when people who are taking an oath will no longer say,‘ As surely as the Lord lives, who rescued the people of Israel from the land of Egypt.’

耶和华说：“时候将到，那时人不再凭把以色列人带出埃及的耶和华起誓，

“看哪！日子快到，人必不再指着那领以色列人从埃及地上来的永活的耶和华起誓。”这是耶和华的宣告。

“ However, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when it will no longer be said,‘ As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,’

“ But a new day is coming,” announces the Lord.“ At that time here is what people will no longer say.‘ As sure as he is alive, the Lord brought the Israelites up out of Egypt.’

“ Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when it shall no longer be said,‘ As the Lord lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’

“ However, look, the days are coming”— the LORD’s declaration—“ when it will no longer be said,‘ As the LORD lives who brought the Israelites from the land of Egypt,’

“ Therefore behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when it will no longer be said,‘ As the Lord lives, who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’

“ Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,“ that it shall no more be said,‘ The Lord lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that it shall no more be said, As Jehovah liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

“ However, take note! The days are coming”— the Lord’s declaration—“ when it will no longer be said,‘ As the Lord lives who brought the Israelites from the land of Egypt,’

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

Yet I, the LORD, say:“ A new time will certainly come. People now affirm their oaths with‘ I swear as surely as the LORD lives who delivered the people of Israel out of Egypt.’

“ Therefore behold, the days come,” says Yahweh,“ that it will no more be said,‘ As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;’

“ In that day,” says the Lord,“ when people are taking an oath, they will no longer say,‘ As surely as the Lord lives, who rescued the people of Israel from the land of Egypt.’Instead, they will say,‘ As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the people of Israel back to their own land from the land of the north and from all the countries to which he had exiled them.’ Then they will live in their own land.”

Remember that you were once slaves in the land of Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you! That is why I am giving you this command.

“ I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt, the place of your slavery.

“ But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

This shows that Israel will go a long time without a king or prince, and without sacrifices, sacred pillars, priests, or even idols!But afterward the people will return and devote themselves to the Lord their God and to David’s descendant, their king. In the last days, they will tremble in awe of the Lord and of his goodness.

For I brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from slavery. I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam to help you.
