I will winnow them with a winnowing fork at the city gates of the land. I will bring bereavement and destruction on my people, for they have not changed their ways.

I will stand at the city gates of the land. I will separate the straw from the grain. I will destroy my people. I will bring great sorrow on them. They have not changed their ways.

The LORD continued,“ In every town in the land I will purge them like straw blown away by the wind. I will destroy my people. I will kill off their children. I will do so because they did not change their behavior.

這百姓還沒有歸向擊打他們的主，也沒有尋求萬軍之耶和華。

他手裏拿着簸箕，要揚淨他的穀物，把麥子收在倉裏，把糠用不滅的火燒盡。」

你要簸揚它們，風要將它們吹去；旋風要颳散它們。你卻要以耶和華為喜樂，因以色列的聖者誇耀。

我要差陌生人來到巴比倫，他們要簸揚它，使它的地空無一物。在它遭禍的日子，他們要四圍攻擊它。

因此，願他們的兒女忍受饑荒，願他們死於刀劍之手；願他們的妻無子，且作寡婦，願他們的男人被死亡所滅，他們的壯丁在陣上被刀擊殺。

耶和華啊，你的眼目不是在尋找誠實嗎？你擊打他們，他們卻不傷慟；你摧毀他們，他們仍不領受管教。他們使臉剛硬過於磐石，不肯回頭。

他們縱然將兒女養大，我卻要使他們喪子，一個也不留。我離棄他們，他們就有禍了。我看以法蓮如推羅栽於美地。以法蓮卻要將自己的兒女帶出來，交給行殺戮的人。耶和華啊，求你加給他們，加給他們甚麼呢？要使他們懷孕流產，乳房枯乾。因他們在吉甲的一切惡事，我在那裏憎惡他們。因他們所行的惡，我必把他們趕出我的殿，不再愛他們；他們的領袖都是悖逆的。以法蓮受擊打，其根枯乾，不能結果，即或生產，我也要殺他們所生的愛子。我的上帝必棄絕他們，因為他們不聽從他；他們必飄流在列國中。

惡人並不是這樣，卻像糠粃被風吹散。

「你要對他們說，耶和華如此說：人跌倒，不再起來嗎？人轉去，不再轉回來嗎？這耶路撒冷的百姓為何永久背道呢？他們抓住詭詐，不肯回頭。

不要效法你們的祖先。從前的先知呼叫他們說：『萬軍之耶和華如此說，當回轉離開你們的惡道惡行。』他們卻不聽，也不順從我。這是耶和華說的。

「你，人子啊，那日當我除掉他們所倚靠的保障、所歡喜的榮耀，並眼中所喜愛的，心裏所重看的兒女時，

那時，必有話對這百姓和耶路撒冷說：「來自曠野光禿高地的熱風吹向我的百姓，不是為簸揚，也不是為揚淨。又有一陣比這更大的風向我颳來；現在，我要向他們宣讀我的判決。」

「我降瘟疫在你們中間，如在埃及的樣子；用刀殺戮你們的年輕人和你們遭擄掠的馬匹，營中臭氣撲鼻，你們仍不歸向我。」這是耶和華說的。「我傾覆你們，如同上帝從前傾覆所多瑪、蛾摩拉一樣；你們好像從火中搶救出來的一根柴，你們仍不歸向我。」這是耶和華說的。「因此，以色列啊，我要如此對待你；因為我要這樣對待你，以色列啊，你當預備迎見你的上帝。」

你生兒育女，卻不屬於你，因為他們必被擄去。

『你告訴以色列家，主耶和華如此說：我要使我的聖所被褻瀆，就是你們憑勢力所誇耀、眼裏所喜愛、心中所愛惜的；並且你們所遺留的兒女必倒在刀下。

你身所生的，你地所產的，以及牛犢、羔羊，都必受詛咒。

你的兒女被交給別國的民；你的眼目終日切望，甚至失明，你的手卻無能為力。

因為死亡從窗戶進來，進入我們的宮殿，從外邊剪除孩童，從街上剪除少年。

你在仇敵圍困的窘迫中，必吃你本身所生的，就是耶和華－你上帝所賜給你的兒女之肉。你中間，連那溫和文雅的人都必冷眼惡待自己的兄弟和懷中的妻子，以及他所剩下其餘的兒女，不把所吃兒女的肉分一點給他們任何一個人，因為在被仇敵圍困、陷入窘迫的各城中，他已經一無所剩了。你中間柔順嬌嫩的婦人，甚至因柔順嬌嫩腳不肯踏地的婦人，也必冷眼惡待她懷中的丈夫和自己的兒女。
